I got a couple of lovely beds in Equipet (Drogheda Branch, but they might be in all of them), they were marked €40 down from €55 but are nice and big and strong fabric, plus the innards are almost like a duvet so are bendable to go into the washing machine AND the perfect camouflage colour for red setter hair.:D They're carhartt clothing brand.

Here's Benson modelling the bed - aka minding his chew. He looks tiny on it! They are quite big. I don't have room for 3! They'll have to share, or use the couch.

Wolf of the wilderness dog food £2 per kg on special offer on zoo plus. It seems to be limited to 4 per customer so 8kg. I am sure there is a 5% off coupon knocking around if you spend over a certain amount ;)

Jazooli/Bunty dog beds from a Groupon offer. Mine arrived in Parcel Motel last night and is great quality. There's limited stock so I didn't get my preferred colour but it worked out at less than €20 including postage and PM for the medium bed.

My local pet shop sells this aswell but just put their own label on it.

Is the offer only on the large bag or the smaller bag aswell?

Is the offer added when you go to checkout?

I put a duck and a salmon flavour into my cart, paid for 2 but will get 4 as confirmed by DDD on their facebook page.:)

Knine, do you reckon the adult version would be good for Spinone pup 7/8 months old? I reckon a good adult food rather than a mediocre puppy food at this stage. He's just going to fill out now rather than get any more bone growth.

    Thanks for that.

We tend to buy the smaller bag because of space (no room to store the big bag) but our local pet shop sells it for €9.99 a bag (large bag is €44.99).

So while you buy one get free here now it is a bit more expensive when the offer isn't available.

    Good spot OP.

Yes actually an adult food is better. They are a very slow maturing breed & it is much better for them that they grow slowly. He won't actually be mature until about at least 4 years of age.

I saw in pet stop carrickmines today that you get a free dog food bin with Royal canin. It is this one. http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product_review.asp?dept_id=736&pf_id=52499

I got one free years and years ago without any purchase!! It's still going strong and Have tennis balls, leads etc on it.
I used to keep a 6kg bag of food in it in it's bag. For anything bigger you would need to empty bag into bin.

Dealz has a few of the Bakers treats (you know, 'Healthy Hearts', 'rewards') at buy one get one half price, at 1.49 starting price. They also have the long ones like 'sizzlers' at 1.49 but not included in the other deal.

They smell godawful but my dogs go nuts for them- the hearts are way too big for training but I just break them up into 6-10 bits.

I was in Pet Stop in Castlebar today and saw they had 13kg bags of Acana on offer reduced from €59 to €40. It had a decent date on it - Dec 2016.

They also had something called Prince Premium grain free 12kg reduced from €79 to around €50 I think. I've never heard of that one before but might be of some use to someone.

I think there are a few Pet Stops around and about but not sure if they all have the same stock. This was Castlebar.

In a pound shop in Dublin recently I saw slow feeder bowls for dogs.

They don't seem to be stocking the little whistles at the moment- they used to carry a whistle/id cylinder packet for about 2 euro. Of course as soon as I decide I want one they're gone.

Picked this up at Argos today. I order food in bulk from Zooplus and have been trying to find a cat-proof, affordable, and decent-looking storage unit to keep it in. So far, so good!

15% off at riaflex.co.uk (they make joint supplements) with the code smile15 until midnight tomorrow. Using this for Bailey atm as it works out cheaper than YuMove.

Petworlddirect have €5 off small bags red mills leader. 2kg is €7.99. They also have a free dog food bin with the big bags. They have a loyalty scheme where you get the 10th bag free :)
I bought some sensitive food to try and there is no beet pulp in it ;)

Not technically a pet bargain but Homestore and More have envelope (ie regular rectangular) sleeping bags half price at €7.50. I find them really handy for putting dog beds into for an extra cover or if you've a bed with a broken zip or a worn out cover. They also do great as a bed on their own and they're lovely and warm in the winter. And they wash and dry so quickly too. There's navy blue or bright pink, don't pick up the black or turquoise ones as they're the mummy style sleeping bags and you'll not get a big bed into them!

Homestore are setting up the pet stuff! Same beds as usual and they also have orthopaedic mattresses too.
