From your previous posts in the CoD forum I dont think you move from where you spawn anyway irrespective of your team being spawned trapped:pac:

I will hold my hand up and say I was joking, review my post and you will see that I mention camping with a shotgun with heartbeat sensor attachment which is not possible, my posts were not to be taken serious

I enjoy running and gunning with pp90m1, extended mags, silencer, blind eye, assassin, stead aim, for kill streak I use specialist, I play alone but would enjoy playing with a team

I do not camp in corners

ugh! just got a reaper and 1 person on the other team showed up on the map.

blind eye/assassin/heartbeat sensor seems to be the asshole's loadout in tdm.

How long more do we need to with until no assassin lobbies like backs ops had

Spawn trapping is insanely boring in a public environment. If you're playing in a full party against a group of completely random players, you have no excuse to spawn trap to the point where they can't even move out of spawn.

Surely the excitement of being a 'good' player is winning convincingly and quickly, rather than quite literally shooting fish in a barrel?

Also, to then boast about having such a high k/d and killstreak as a result of spawn trapping is just so pathetic. The amount of times I've lone wolfed against full parties trying to spawn trap and just ruined their day is unbelievable.

The problem is that anyone who spawn traps thinks they're semi decent, but as soon as they face another player of a similar or better standard they are immediately on the back foot.

Competitive spawn trapping is different, you're actually playing against players who are communicating and aren't complete drips. Video below is evidence for that, from ECL2, Flame Retardant get H2K in the nasty Havana spawn trap but only after an age of having to force them into it and great gun skill.

View from about 2:20 onwards to see what I mean:

I remember watching this live and thinking of all the abuse we were going to give Dunc

OT: If you're playing against a good team the only way to actually win demo attack is to get a spawn trap. There really is nothing wrong with it, I could see why people losing rounds on purpose to lengthen their spawn trap would be annoying but as a legitimate tactic, its pretty standard and necessary.

Surely due to how easy it is to get killstreaks on mw3, running blindeye makes sense, why should the other teams players be obliged to die like noobs so as to add to your killstreaks?

As for assassin, most competitive players on youtube recommend assassin, however I see hardline as a great choice also if using specialist package

How they didn't put blind eye and assassin in the same perk tier is beyond me.

    Idiots.

Cod needs stopping power back, assassin/ghost etc. weren't used as much on mw2/cod4 when the trade off was against stopping power. On mw3 stopping power is just built into every class, needs to be a perk option.

that actually doesnt make a lick of sense, at least in MW2 you had to sacrifice stopping power for cold blooded, so your anti air class would be underpowered gun wise against someone wthi SP equipped, but in mw3 you can hide from basically everything. like they have quickdraw and hardline on the same tier for balance, but the most unbalanced perk in the game has another equivalent to make it even more unbalanced.

Pretty sure there are tons of competitive players who post on youtube ?

At least on the american side anyway. Optic / Fear players and a few others used to post quite regularly in blops.

Why would they be recommending assassin though? There are no killstreaks in competitive. Unless the competitive players were making videos about their classes in publics which would be wierd but fair enough

More off topic chat but some of the ideas for ghost/assassin issues for BOps2 mentioned by Tmartn in some of his videos are great.

    Things like:
Assassin and Blind Eye Separated, rather than like Ghost in BOps, and in the same tier
Assassin only working when your moving and/or only for every other/third sweep of the radar
Nothing to keep you off a high assault radar, like Blackbird, rather than the stupid support Advanced UAV

I generally use Hardline most but for some rushing classes, assassin can be very handy - very rarely use blind eye as SOH is important to a lot of my classes
