1st wave is women in sport and the last two are the faster swimmers.

We have a briefing tonight so i'll know more after the meeting and i'll post it.

The last finisher will come in at about 14:20 !

...and parking at this race can be a fcukin nightmare. There's a municipal car park close by (€2 for the day IIRC) but it fills up really fast. If you don't get in here you could be a while looking for a space. I'm still p1ssed off I cant do this one, I've done the last three years :(

Best of luck to everyone doing this on Saturday. Kicking myself for not signing up now. I thought that 2 tris in 2 weeks would be a bit much in my first year but now I'm all jealous*

    *especially of you phkk!!

Ha ha!! Looking forward to it now. Hope to improve swim time big time after Nenagh, was really disappointed with that. Early start in the morning again, bring it on!!

Let me know how to check your log Bally8- am interested on reading it. Have you any other triathlons in mind?

There was rain, wind, hail stones and i got sun burn.........again, thats 4 years in a row.

Tough conditions on the bike with the wind but well done to all.

Very proud day for me as my wife did her first ever tri :)

Great going shotgun. But great to see Tin Tin get his first win. Getting shot down on Take Me Out clearly hasn't done him any harm!!!

Edit: just noticed the double win for 3D. We're taking over!!!

A well run race today - very freindly marshalls!
Enjoyed the day, swim went ok, bike went well and at first I was a bit disappointed with how I ran but 4th fastest run will do me - for now:)
Good to meet both MCOS and Mloc for the first time too. Mloc - couldn't see your name inthe results?
MCOS - Congrats on the podium place. what happened in T2? did you stop for coffee :)

We claim Dave in Midland Tri :)

Unlucky mloc. good to meet you again and Macrani. Met Ceepo too and had very good chat about running. Nice running Mac! I stopped dead alright in T2 as both my calves locked in cramp! Those hailstones on the bike stung! Report soon

Can't believe that was DCs first win. Closest I've been to him so far.

Sorry to butt in here but ahmmm.....

What club is David registered with for 2012...??? ;)

    Midland?
3D Tri (as Irish Triathlon suggests...?)

    Or....

    Pulse...

Edit - could be my mistake here... He may have just hooked up with Pulse for training with his coach I think.

    So 3DTri seems most likely!

What gear was he wearing? I wasn't there but I have a good idea.

True that could be the deciding factor...
Haven't seen any pics so don't know.
Pulse Race suits aren't avail either yet though so unlikely to be Pulse's!

Is he on here? Maybe he can clarify :D

Maybe his Agent is just looking for the best transfer fees... :D

On another note, he's in for Joey Hannan next week BTH..... ;)

Sorry to hear that mloc. Why do you think that was?

Care to share on the "good chat about running"?

That was a great swim from you sir.
Luckily, I got around the course without any hassle from the weather.

Why do you think your calves cramped up in T2? Lack of training bricks?; or pushed that bit too hard on the bike?

Sorry to break it to you but Dave is only using you for a training session. He joins 2/3 clubs every year so nothing new there. But his heart in black and orange. Sure he's on our committee!!
