, you'd be one of the last into the pool and pool swims are slower because of all the others in the lane with you.

What does this mean? You'd be one of the last into the pool? How many faster times than 12 minutes have you got?

The faster your projected swim time the later wave you'll be in, i'm trying to find last years result to see the swim times.

The site has been changed so i'll ask this evening at out spinning class and report later !

Mark, can I put my entry out for someone else to take?

I'm not running well and don't want to risk further injury to my achilles by taking to the road too soon :(

I'm happy to give it for free if that poses a barrier.

Let me know if I should get on to someone else about it?

    Dave

Sorry too close, all waves have been put together as of late last week. But you can pick the postion in your lane and that will help you on the day.

    Are the waves online somewhere?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,197 ✭✭✭elvis jones

They should be later in the week, i'll pop up a post when i hear they are !

First try is in this on Sat and I am fairly nervous. I don't suspect I will struggle with anything bar maybe the swim. Good luck to all.

    Good luck with it.

The cycle has some hills in the 1st 8k and after that its fairly flat so you'll do well and the run is an out and back. The out has a hill but back is down or flat so you'll finish with a smile on your face !!!
