    Wednesday 18th
    8.00
    1hr14:22
    9:18 min/mile
Broke my ass trying to get out of work before dark so I could get a run in the park. It's been months since I've had a mid week run up there. When the dark eventually hit I was on Chesterfield but it was still really hard to see the potholes before I'd fallen down them! Pace actually felt faster but happy enough with that.

Mind your footing Ro. maybe stick to the lit areas until it is alot brighter. don't want ya falling over. nice running though

I'm finding it pretty difficult not to reply in my usual way to that but for once I'll be a gentleman ;)

Jeez Ro, you'd want to speed up a bit with some of those runs...they're a bit on the slow side for our 10:30 min/mile group runs :p

    Nice running girl, well done

    Thursday 19th
    7.10 miles
    1hr04
    8:59 min/mile
Had to wear my glasses on this but coz they're too loose I had to tie them to a headband and tie a handband to my head. Pretty Runner 2012 I was not :)
That's my last run for a week :( Will have to live my running through everyone else's log!

    Friday 27th
    1.4 miles
So disappointed tonight. Felt a niggle in my knee yesterday but the excitement of being back running meant I didn't dwell on it. Decided I'd try run it off tonight and pulled up after .4 mile in a good deal of pain. Will work on it tonight myself and hopefully will be able for the morning run :(:(

    Saturday 28th Jan
    10 miles
    1hr 29 min
    8:59 min/mile
Got three miles in before I met digijem, jcsmum and Boy wonder. Got another 7 in then with a few loops of the carpark. Knee is not good but the chat kept my mind off it. Will try fix it now :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,156 ✭✭✭jcsmum

You're a tough cookie running with that pain. Hopefully it will pass and you will enjoy the weekend and get a scenic run in.

I am a bit curious about how one goes about fixing these problems, as my ankles give out frequently?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,090 ✭✭✭shazkea

Hope you get the knee sorted out quickly.

I see K has you doing loops of the car park now too :D
