    Not sure about German passports, but Irish citizenship costs almost twice the €500! You might not be saving much...plus it will probably take you a while...usually 5 -7 years to get Irish Citizenship.

    Actually that's a good point, when my Irish passport expires will it be replaced by German one since they now own us?

    Funny. I actually just renewed mine and got the new one back a couple of weeks ago. Still has the Harp on the front:D
