You can be sure it wasn't James May, anyway. :)

Of course not, he had one in 2004...:pac:

Also looks like it could have had a smack; thats some bonnet gap with the left wing and the headlamp looks newer on the left too.

but I'd be suspicious of the mileage on that one. There's better condition out there with twice the mileage.

Have you been to see this one? Says service history on the ad.
Surely a 'few scratches' allowance can be made for a 12 year old motor.

This is an argument I fancy.

Unkel was just suggesting that something was wrong with it, thats all. He wasn't saying it is a sh!tbox of a car...... But in all fairness a Kia Rio is a sh!tbox. Its a desirable as slap across the face with a fish. It looks like sh!t, drives like sh!t, has an interior thats of an inferior quality to sh!t and by and large is sh!t.

All of the above is fine though cause this is bangernomics. Many of the cars I've bought, owned for long peroids of time and driven were all sh!t. Lots of cars in here that are suggested are sh!tboxes but the point is economics. So while we've all driven the worst of the worst , there's no point pretending a chicken sh!t is chicken soup cause its not.

Not much point coming in here unless your pride is left at the door.
only one question,if you think its such a ****ebox why did you bother putting up the link to one in the first place?

    That clock.
That clock in that dash board.
That clock in that dash board offends my eyes.

Genuinely though, don't know why and it's certainly not the the worst part of the car but that clock reminds me of the clock that does be doing the countdown in the background of all the nightmares i have ever had.

Not bangernomics but with that tax and NCT surely its a bargain at 4500 for a comfortable 2 litre diesel

But that wasn't your original point so now you're just being a hypocrite.

You originally said that not everybody wants to run luxobarges such as saabs or BMs which is fine , but you also took offence to the piss taking of a Kia Rio. So my questions to you are as follows A) is a Kia Rio a cheap way to get motoring and B) and you've got to be honest here, is it a crap car?

    Todays suggestion for MM..... :)

as small diesels are all in vogue these days, how about this vw polo 1.4 tdi ........low tax, low insurance, frugal, easy to service (T.belt kit for these is just €89) and 75bhp, but remappable to 100bhp is ya want!

This example is not flawless by any means, but if gotten round 1500 notes, it'd be a good bangernomic option in these lean times. And you'd lose little on this car, depreciation would be low now.......

I had the same happen earlier with a different car...Donedeal must be having website problems.

This seems to be the same car posted twice. One in Dublin and the other in WestMeath. What's the thinking behind this?

I saw that Volvo ad a couple days ago, the seller says it can be viewed in both locations. Posted it in both counties.
