RJ, what's the story with you man ! You're well up on your car knowledge but you don't need to argue with all if us at some time or another just to prove this. Build a bridge dude and move on. You gotta sort that sh!t. Really , you'll enjoy your participation in here much more if you stop having a go at them for something they haven't done.

    Moment of profoundness over :-)

I was disagreeing with some points, I wasn't the one commenting on folks not having a notion for disagreeing with me either ;)
I think you'll find I didn't have a go at anyone in the last few pages.

A few cars that I reckon would be worth a look

    First up is a 1999 1.6 Impreza, NCT'd until Jan 2013 €550
    Full-12237126.jpeg

    Second is a 1999 1.3 Corolla, NCT'd until Sep 2013 €995
    Full-13239238.jpeg

    Third is a 00 1.6 Octy, NCT'd until Jan 2013 €950
    Full-12040988.jpeg

    I do love cars with NCT's :D

Perhaps getting insurance on this car could be an issue. It has been modified way beyond its capabilities. Potential death trap! Frightening!

Make a lowball offer, those seats are so clean and those alloys would be lovely on yours, you could facelift your car too :)

When you're done it's still worth a few quid in scrap

Can you scrap a car without the logbook?

Paid just over half the asking, needs 200 quid spent on it, tested for a year, taxed for 3 months and it drives lovely. Full leather, good rubber and a sunroof too :D I'll sort it all , keep it for a few weeks and let it on I suppose. Cheap fun.

Yeah I though so too. Its not perfect but it still looks very well.

The jobs that need doing would be expensive labour wise but thats not a problem for me. Myself and a buddy will be heading to the scrapyard for a window reg and two second hand struts today and attack the lot at the weekend :)

I had clear indicators for one of those recently, would of freshened it up.

I have a set of headlights there if they're any good to you.

Good stuff, thanks for the offer. All the lamps are good so I'm ok there. Not going to spend anything on it except whats needed. If someone else fancies a blank canvas at a small profit in a few weeks then I'll be ore than happy.

    I smell a boardsies Wheeler-Dealers type thread coming on...:pac:

Seriously though, even when you sell it on for a small profit somebody will be getting great bangernomics.
