Some people might be able to view it live by streaming from NFL.com or the NFL network, which I'm sure will be good, but won't work for me.

So my Plan B is to record it (Sky Plus) from BBC 5 Live Extra, which is carrying it live. For those who haven't recorded a radio station from your Sky box before, you need to do a Manual Recording (i.e. manualling setting program no, start time and finish time).

BBC 5 Live Extra channel number on Sky EPG (I think) is 0144

Scratch this nonsense. I could've sworn BBC 5 Live and 5 Live Extra was on the Sky Ireland EPG, but its not. You can listen to it via the "Other Channels" facility, but you cannot record it on Sky+.

Does anyone know if the draft will be streamed over the NFL app on the Ipad?

Just purchased the NFL Network package for the month for e3.49. Had gamepass last year and it is a perfect stream through the big screen. Still not happy about the ESPN snub though.

    Attachment not found.

I take it they are covering the draft Live?. If so then €3.49 is a great deal.

Very excited now, first time I'll have stayed up to watch the draft.

So the Vikings are clearly the dumbest organisation in American football now. Going to pass on Kalil (to take claiborne or Blackmon) and the Bills are hoping that if Browns pass on him at 4 (which they should as have an all pro LT) the the Bucs may be open to a trade at 5 as they have just given Donald Penn a tonne of money

I'm a Bucs fan but if we miss out on Richardson and CLaibourne that trade sounds good for us, if we take thier 1st round pick and a second i'd be delighted.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,188 ✭✭✭Justin10

Ive totally changed my mind about who Chargers will draft.
I think safety is going number 1. I wouldnt be surprised if we reach for smith at 18 as we dont trade back.

Serious talk around Denver that the Broncos might trade up to 7 to try and get Stephen Gilmore (Though if we get up that high i'd pray that one of Trent/Claiborne are still on the board...which probably won't happen). Draft is deep at DT and i could see us picking one up in the second, maybe LaMicheal James in the third - that's depending on whether or not we'll have the second and third rounders.

Yea they reckon Bills 1st and 2nd round pick would get them up to 6 spot so doubt much more would be required. Would be good for both teams really.

How much would it take for the Broncos to trade up to the 7 spot? Couple of 1st and couple of 2nd round pick at least? For Stephen Gilmore? Sounds like hot air from someone (Jags are desperate to get out of the 7 spot so I guess the more stories they "leak" about teams wanting to move up the better for them)

I'll believe it when I see it! To be honest if Kalil slips past 3 then I dont mind taking a chance to see him fall all the way to 10. Otherwise, I'm fine with the Bills picking someone like Kuechly. Don't get me wrong, Kalil would be an unbelievable player to have, but that 41st pick is one we really need as there's talent to be got there, particularly at WR.

Agreed i'd believe it when I see it too but more and more of the "draft experts" reporting it. No chance he would reach 10. The Rams would be on him like jam on toast if he fell to 6.

Although to be fair Mayock (who is the best draft analyst out there in my opinion) released his mock today and believes the Vikings will take Kalil.

    just some things i think

...i think Vikes are dying to trade down but dont get the deal they want so take kalil ....so Mayock is right

Fletcher Cox is under-rated and will go very high ...Mark Barron will not go top 10 or Gilmore ...good players just wont go that high

Arizona afer missing Rieff pick Floyd

Jets may pick DeCastro to play Guard or swing tackle

Coples apart from bad buzz has not slid as much as feared and Nick Perry draft a lot higher than thought with Chargers after missing with a bad pick of Liuget last year

Titans stick with the offensive Line

Bengals have another great draft with Upshaw and Kirkpatrick

btw Dallas will trade into top 10 if they think Bills select Barron

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

    NFL Draft Day Rumour synopsis

Jets trade up to Bucs spot to take Trent Richardson
Bucs trade up to Vikings spot to get Trent Richardson
Vikings stay at 3 but take Morris Claiborne
Bills trade up to Bucs to take Kalil after Vikings pass
Chiefs trade up to Jaguars spot to get Ryan Tannehill
Jaguars take Stephen Gilmore at 7
Eagles/Jets trade up to Jaguars spot to get Fletcher Cox

Easy to predict whats going to happen (not even taking into account when we get to the Pats picks!!)

Meanwhile Giants will sit quitely and get an unbelieveable talent at 32 (Jonathan Martin) just like last year when Prince fell because everyone needed a QB, the run on DE's/DT's will give us Martin this year

Not a bad shout, was reading today that Jerry Jones has been Dallas owner for 23 drafts now, and he's traded their first pick in 75% of those. Old habits etc.

I also think people a lot of these experts are getting carried away with DE's like Ingram, Jones and Perry being the first off the board. Quinton Coples is still lightyears ahead of them imo, and is by far the most dominant pass-rusher in this draft. Anybody getting him outside the top 10 if it happens are getting the bargain of the year, I don't care what else happens. The "lack of effort" concerns are greatly exaggerated.

I saw a mock draft that him landing in Chicago, and the though of himself and Peppers on the same D-line is absolutely terrifying.

My own outlandish prediction that will never happen is Marvin Jones to sneak into the end of the first round. Won't happen, but he's the 3rd best WR in the draft for me. Apart from that, Russell Wilson to go in the 2nd ;)

If the Pats end up with Nick Perry somehow, I will dance a merry jig.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

. Apart from that, Russell Wilson to go in the 2nd ;)

Actually I have been surprised about the QB's been taken this year in mocks. Weedon is the only QB I have seen go in the 2nd round. Foles, Cousins and Osweiler all drafted in later rounds.

Will this actually happen or will the Browns trading up to 31 and taking Weedon frighten people and force all the other QB's into the 2nd.

After last year its hard to believe only 4 QB's in the 1st 2 rounds.

You can see the draft via either NFL or ESPN on the internet I think...

Does anyone know if it's being shown on ESPN via Sky again?

Have an exam tomorrow so can't stay up for this, well that's just ****ing great

There's no chance of me being able to avoid any coverage of this during the day so looks like I'll have to miss out on watching it, disappointing as I was looking forward to this for months.

    Can't wait for tonight

Last year the place went mad when we learned about the Falcons/Browns trade :D

Then we spent the last few rounds wondering where Mark Herzlich was going :)

Are the Colts on the clock right at 1am? I'm going to bed and getting up. Colts and Skins should be done by 1.15am if it starts right at 1am.
