On the south/west coast: Kinsale, Doolin, Westport. On the east, Howth or Carlingford.

I lived in Malahide for almost 2yrs and i really likes it there. You've got the two beaches of malahide and portmarnock. The malahide marina is pretty nice too. The swords estuary is a beautiful and one of the most relaxing place in Dublin. There's also the castle...
I'ld love to go back and live there... Its just a bit pricey...

Some say that if you get tired of Galway, you're tired of living with gypos.

That was the holiday destination for our family as kids. Beautiful coast line.

I remember bags of 'Yellow man' (like the stuff inside Cadbury's Crunchy), sandy beaches, Barry's amusements.

    Fond memories.

Sandycove/Dalkey gets my vote in Dublin with Sutton and Howth coming a close 2nd and 3rd. Outside of Dublin Kinsale and Westport are both quite nice.

Any of the small villages on the Copper coast in Waterford.

If its a town then I would say Kinsale.

Kinsale way over-rated. Dingle for me.
