Accidently got a girl to hate me

Am staying in a hostel at the moment and was heading down to the lobby while waiting for what seemed an age, I decided to say to the good looking girl beside me to break the tension "You really should have walked down" to which she got a shocked look on her face and said ok and headed down from the 7th floor, I was a bit surprised, So later my sister came into the room telling me what said girl was saying to her friend in the bathroom that some guy came up to her and hinted she was fat so should walk down the stairs, Then today met her again with her friends and the look they threw me walking by, So what I learned from all this is dont hit on girls till youve thought every word through:p

I was in the pub with a female friend and she said something about how she wasn't happy about how her outfit looked. I said 'yeah, but that's because you're fat!'. In a jovial way, making it clear, I thought, that she wasn't. She burst into tears and ran from the pub, her boyfriend followed.

What you should have said was:

"When's your birthday?"

She responds with a date.

"Sure it'd be [insert date here] before this lift arrives."

If her birthday was recently wish her a belated happy birthday. If it is coming up wish her an advanced happy birthday. Either way brownie points cuz bitches love birthdays.

Then you offer to escort her down the seven flights of stairs, during which time you've ample opportunity to ask her a few relevant, intelligent questions, showing her you're a decent individual who is interested in more than just her exercise regime.

I took it to mean that it would have been faster to use the stairs than to wait for the lift, which was taking an age to stop at their floor.

If i had said that Id understand the hatred tbh, I generally am pretty good at starting conversations with girls hence why I was thrown by this one

Upon reaching the bottom, you'd say "You're very light!"

This way, you would have proved that you thought she's not overweight and that you're physically strong.
