all soaps,am seriously fed up of hearing hollyoaks from the lounge tv as they then turn it to the next days hollyoaks which they show on another channel, then emmerdale, corination street, eastenders, urghhh.
it is incredible just hearing people talk about them by name and as if they are real, bunch of soft gits.

all of those stupid reality tv shows.

    all game shows.

eurovision-because the public who vote for the english entry are tone deaf and because of the silly bias countries have for each other.

    chat shows like jeremy kyle.

last of the summer wine, dad has always got this on at the weekend,-fake,ridiculous and crap.

    am done..for now.

When I think of shows that people will look back on and identify as being a representation of what the youth of today liked, I see shows such as
Jersey Shore and Made in Essex and I weep... how can we tell them that these were not representative of us, how can we defend such monstrosities, such stupidity... we have no excuse!

Yes and TV was closed then. No TV at all - and being told it was bedtime and to say your prayers!

    Always resented that. :)

US sitcoms never really are though. And the stars of Two And a Half Men are the highest paid TV actors in the world according to an article I read a little while back. (I think House and SVU were next - but they're good shows). So it's obviously hugely popular for whatever reason.

Joey (I think it was called that). Matt LeBlanc obviously didn't have anything lined up post Friends.

RTE can get the odd thing right, Paths to Freedom and Bachelors Walk. ITV have about as bad a record with far more resources.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Things like "Upwardly Mobile" or "Val Falvey TD". They make alot of the other stuff mentioned here seem like pure gold.

Also the Sky One back catalogue could fill this thread on its own
