I've always loved the E39 M5, but I must admit to being disappointed by it in Forza 4...

I find all BMW's to be bad in it except for classic ones like the 2002 Turbo and E28 M5. They generally oversteer too much.

Yeah, I had that problem with my E36 M3 in Forza 3. It was going sideways too much with the assists on.

24k! is that as a result of rareness or what?

For a clean one, I'd pay it.
Definitely buy that over a new Focus for the same money.

    Edit: it's automatic. :(

Yup, would be. Still worth it! I think most of them are auto Cian, any one before 97 anyway. I'd much prefer a facelift model though (especially mugen)

Worth every penny. It might be a Honda, but it's still a supercar.

    they/them/theirs

The E36 M3 was the best car in Forza 3, no competition.

Anyone know how much that would of been when new?

    Yeah I think you're right.
They came in 5 and 6 manual too, that'd be what I'm aiming for.

It was €26k a few months back, a friend posted it to my FB saying a euro for every mile

    It's an auto box :(

I liked it, but it took a lot of tuning to tame the handling.

Funny that the American lady has outshone every Jap/German girl posted here. If I owned that then I'd spend all day looking at it.

i dont know what to make of this, but i suppose i'm a bit weary of how such a toolkit is so readily available.

You can buy a crowbar very easily that will give you access to lots of cars. You can also get a set of wire clippers that you can use to hot wire older jap cars, such as that MX5 last week on here. You can also just "sniff" RF codes from car keys as an owner is accessing their car with some simple electronics.

Plenty of ways to rob something, to be honest. Hell, you could just steal a car while someone naive enough leaves the keys inside their car while getting petrol.

Agreed, despite the quality, that's an ugly car. :/

Sorry VM but I'm going to have to agree with astra-boy here. Even though it's solidly built, it is mank!

I think you're missing the point; it is an 'R' (250bhp, all-wheel-drive and capable of 155mph).

If the wheels weren't painted black and if it was in a more Irish colour (silver, grey etc.) then you'd probably react differently.

It'd still look like a shoebox no matter what colour it is.
