Chaos Kinght is such a pile of dogsh1t. He's my last hero in the 10 hero challenge and cant get a win with him.

CK gets very powerful mid-late game with his ult. Try farming up early for duribility.

CK is a very relaxing hero to play. You don't need to do anything but farm for the first 10-15 minutes and at that point you can make a big splash in teamfights.

These compendium challenges are making me a better player, but completely destroying my win rate.

4 games with tinker., 4 losses. All 4 games. No wards on map. I had to buy and upgrade the courier twice. Least played is just dogsh1t tier. Worse than being in low prio. I thought there was supposed to be some level of matchmaking in unranked games. This is just complete bullsh1t.

Hey guys, I have more than 100 hours total play time, yet have not done any MM besides Co-op bot matches. Is there anything important I should consider before doing proper MM matches?

Join us on teamspeak and play team MM games instead of solo. Solo will destroy your life unless you're competent in at least 3 heroes (and I mean FULLY competent)

solo MM is perfect for those of us with masochistic tendencies as well.
but i do recommend the boards TS server, decent peeps there, otherwise go solo. just play unranked for a while.

bots are great for practicing specific things, like last hitting, or getting to know a hero, however bots do not accurately replicate human behavior so it can only take you so far.

One of the hardest throws I've ever seen.

66-41 up on kills and 20,000 XP ahead, but still lose thanks to the idiots on my team that think its over and want to dive the fountain. They get wiped with no buyback, then Razor with Ags pushes mid and wins game. Disgusting.

Objective dota is good. People often underestimate how much a single/few kills can change a game.

Playing morph against an ET is actually one of the worst things I've done in dota, TA vs Veno was glorious compared to this. Their entire line up was ET/AM/Lion/Invoker/Doom. Despite a really good start, when entire team is composed of mostly mana heavy heroes vs QW voker AM DOOM. Only death.

His need for late game doesn't suit current meta. He was grand before that. They either need to change the game enough that late game meta is better for him or just rework him completely.

Antimage was never a true late game hero, the hero's strength was getting his third item in the 25-30 min window and his 4th less than 5 minutes after that. The hero's fine as a niche pick in pro games, it's utterly awful in a pub. Even then, at the pro level, other heroes farm at the same speed or faster (naga/sf/morph/luna/tinker are a few examples) by being capable of keeping up in CS with bottle crowing, stacking, early pushing or dire roshan while contributing more in the pre 20 minute time period. These heroes usually split push at least as well while arguably having at least the same carry potential as an AM. Heroes which shut down AM such as doom, lion, shadow shaman, DK are also much more popular. If your game's going even and you have an AM, great. Wouldn't you rather have a void/spectre now.

How does someone playing a Dragon Knight do less damage to enemy heroes than anyone else on the map? Check out the Late game XP graph. The game was almost thrown so hard.

Definitely prefer a void. You can try to shut down a void early but he can still come back and be effective. Shut down an AM early and he is usually completely finished.

One of the biggest turnarounds I've seen I think.

20,000 XP behind as well as two lanes of racks and our tier 4s down on 41 minutes, thanks to a feeding frenzy by the Axe. Our ancient was on less than half health for at least the last 15 minutes of the game and we couldn't push because the megacreeps were swarming in.

At this point I don't think we'd even taken a single Tier 2. Bloodseeker was phat as phuk and shutting me down every team fight by roaming in behind and ulting me. I ended up confined to barracks for half the game just to keep the creep waves away from the ancient.

But Riki saves the day....:D

First time I've ever seen a game where one team had megacreeps and taken the enemy' tier 4s but still lost. Enigma had even disconnected at this stage. The usual dogsh1t feeding stations on my team decided to throw.

126 last hits on Riki in a 1 hour and 15 minute game. After 25 minutes he had tranquils and an S&Y. Incredible that the game lasted as long as it did.

Where fuk to players come from that have no understanding of the importance of gold?
