Nothing will happen to evra. But the mud will stick to suarez for ages.

cool that was my understanding too. Disappointing really

The Guardian running that story about Evra and the ref too.
At the same time, new details have emerged that make it clear the evidence of the referee, Andre Marriner, could be vital. Marriner reportedly called the pair together for a lecture after they had become involved in some pushing at a Liverpool corner. When Suárez attempted to pat his opponent on the head, Evra allegedly pulled away and said: "Don't touch me, you South American." The Uruguayan replied: "Por qué [why], negro?"

Evra was clearly annoyed by something and it was also reported that when he was shown a yellow card later in the match, he allegedly said to Marriner: "You're only booking me because I'm black."

Didn't Winter write one of Kenny's biographies? So chances are he does indeed have an inside track and a possible case of more of the "drip feeding" of info Fergie alluded to. :pac:

Indeed. What he said may not be factually incorrect, but he could be also omitting important info also. Can't trust any journo really.

Taylor is openly copying that from The Telegraph, hence the 'reportedly' part. He has said on Twitter he knows nothing about that himself.

Just to say before the supposed verdict tomorrow, if it's true that Suarez used the word ''negro'', then whoever leaked the ''negrito'' rumour has epically trolled all of us.

But they did expose Javier Henandez as a hateful racist so it was worth the trouble.

Well the one good thing from this whole issue, is that i think its brought us liverpool and utd supporters closer together and helped build a few bridges.

What good will tomorrow do? I'm not up to speed on the case but if Suarez is banned without any evidence then it's a sham. If there is evidence and they don't ban him they are covering up the whole racist issue under the carpet.

I think Suarez will be banned I think he may receive a hefty ban at first and then upon appeal it will only be a couple of games.

The whole thing will be a mockery in the end.

    Picture is too big.

What time is the verdict due?

This is more tense than the OJ Simpson trial.

He has a fairly good reputation on twitter, obviously could still be wrong though.

Verdict should be announced within next hour anyway.

FAs reputation wont be helped with all these leaks coming out from supposed insiders.

That after the shambolic amount of time it took them to actually get to this point.

Far too much Suarez speculation, based on nothing. FA officials have NOT been informed of verdict so far

As an aside, Harry Redknapp is not being charged for gesturing at Shamrock Rovers fans last night.
