Heres what Daglish said, towards the end. He wants whoever was in the wrong to be be punished. So either Suarez wasn't truthful about what he said or Daglish behavior is not on. But either way one of them is in the wrong.

Apparently Suarez also winked at Terry as they shook hands and also Liverpool fans wore "Evra is a liar" t-shirts.

Make up your own minds on that behavior

    Roy Keane :

In fairness two of those could be labelled at Keane himself.

Not sure how it fits into the racism argument though?

You to have admit it wasn't the cleverest thing to do. Could give the impression he wasn't taking it seriously.

Are you for real ? Seriously?

There's been a lot of nonsense posted in this thread but this tops it.

Suarez winking at Terry means that he wasn't taking his racism charge serious... ?

    Tinfoil hat alert/

I'll admit that's bad, but I still think black players through the academy tops the nonsense charts.

Take a look at the hand shakes before Liverpool games from here on. You will see that him winking at the centre backs is a common enough occurance. Would imagine that it is all part of him trying to wind defenders up.

this gives the Utd fans who have been very grounded and fair in this thread a terrible name.

please don't say you actually believe a wink should have a bearing on anything.

he's either trying to wind Terry up before the game starts, or it's just a general greeting.

Does he not know a wink can be offensive?

I'd say this is the most likely.

Players always do it. Actually, normal folk do it when greeting people all the time.

    Bunch of winkers.

I think the whole thing is a farce, denials and accusations. Racisim is fairly disgusting, i think we all agree on that. Do people think calling someone on a pitch a 'black .....' any different to calling him an 'Irish pig, Italian........, Spanish.....' etc.

None of it is nice, but there is not nice people out there, unless it can be proven, then I think they will just have to get on with it. The next step is for someone to wear sound recorders when running around.

jesus christ stop analysing everything suarez does. He's a professional footballer played to do his best regardless whats happening off the pitch thats what he does and people bitch.

If he's found innocent I will be setting up an apology for suarez thread just to see how quick it dies

As has been said over and over on this thread, there is a difference between nationality and race.

On the whole winking thing, a whole lot of nothing. I often wink at players on the football pitch and on the basketball court. Sometimes to rise someone, sometimes it is sincere, means little or nothing especially in the racist context.

I can only assume he doesn't rate him as a manager because he is just jealous because he actually has a job as a manager while Keane spends his days walking his dog.

No - it was reported (front page of a tabloid ffs ) last year that 'Triggs' was dead but it came to light a few days later that Triggs had made a Lazarus like recovery and was still alive!

    Phew!

You creepy bastard, people who wink freak me the fúck out.

It's such a slimey thing to do, imo.

It reminds me of 80s yuppies in ill-fitting suits.

Do you make a click sound with your mouth as you do the wink

Haha was just taking the piss with that, I actually like the guy, great little player, has the cunty side to him e.g handling ball on world cup and stuff, but that shows a man who will win at all costs which makes me like him as a player.
