Cork are definitely a top 3 side in Ireland. Would be very worried if Galway got them in the Quarters.

Anyone here move from Ireland to England?

Am I right in saying you can just move over? Can't find any other requirements outside of being a EU national.

Yeah I did, it really is that simple. Just get a bank a/c sorted and apply for an NHS card and you're sorted pretty much. You'll also have to get the equivalent of a PPS number but it's a pretty easy process.

Is there much to the NHS card?

Seems a whole lot easier than Canada. Just need to start thinking of where now. I'm assuming the likes of London will be the most expensive places to live. It'll be at least another year anyway so I have plenty of time to look into that sort of thing. Thanks for the confirmation :)

Legit. Their fielding at times was superb. No shame in losing by a point to Tipp.

    No worries :)

The general rule is it gets cheaper the further North you go really, Newcastle is pretty cheap in general for going out etc.

The NHS card is really easy, just go to your local GP with some ID, ask for a form, fill it out and hand it in and wait a few weeks for the card to arrive in the post. Thankfully I haven't had to use it yet, but I know others who have and they said it's amazing, going to the doc didn't cost them a penny!

Found a comparison site and never realised Dublin was so expensive! Rent is a killer for London and a few other places. Newcastle was a little higher than i thought after looking at other regions. You might have gotten lucky. Nottingham seems nice and cheap, not sure if that's a good thing :pac:

Liverpool is a non runner, can't stand that accent.

I was studying in Newcastle so probably got it a little cheaper alright, there's a lot of accomodation around though with the 2 universities and you'll never be short of a party to go to :D.

Everyone I've met from Nottingham told me to avoid it, it's affectionately known as Shottingham.

I know a girl who lives in Nottingham which was why I checked that. She kept that part quite! :pac:

you going to look for work in England?

Have you checked out Manchester? Probably your best chance in the northern regions to get work there. Rent will be decent also if you house share with 4 or 5 people id imagine, maybe about £90-120 p/w.

Manchester is a great place to live.

Will be, yeah. But it won't be until at least this time next year. I'm going to make a short list closer to the time and check average rent, jobs etc.

Being an Arsenal fan I don't really want to be that close to United :pac:

Couldn't help but notice there was a LOT of empty buildings there whenever I went over, reminds me of the town I live in a graveyard of failed cafes and short term businesses.

Made it back from Poland. T'was pretty brilliant stuff but when we landed at Dublin Airport I was so so happy to be back. I had the immune system of an aids sufferer and I definitely thought I'd have to punch the lads that were with me in the face if they didn't get out of my sight. Great times bad football. Now just to figure out if I missed anything when I was gone.
