Turns out i lost my passport and License in Dublin on Saturday night. I now have no ID to buy drink or go anywhere until i apply for age card or something. I don't think anyone understand this pain

Third year looking for a job and still nothing. Have left in a CV in every place in this small town. It's just so disheartening.

Why anyone risks taking their passport with them as ID I will never understand.

But I do feel the pain of not having ID, as I didn't have any for the first month and a half after turning 18... which handily coincided with LC results night and starting college.


Argh: I need chocolate. But I have no chocolate.

Ive bright red hair in my license and I'm light brown blonde now and my passport is oldish so i usually need both to convince thats its actually me. Everyday i said id apply for a Age card, learnt my lesson </3

Age Card is fine, but I wish it were slightly bigger than the credit card size cos I have nothing to put in the licence part of my wallet. At the moment I've a mixture of my organ donor card and a few ATM receipts stuffed in there. :P

I wish Irish driving licences were credit card sized. They're the most awkward, flimsy things. I've only had my newest one about 6 months and it's already falling apart!

I want to go see Snow Patrol, Florence and the Machine and The Temper Trap this weekend, but it's likely that even though I'm the only unemployed person in my group of friends, none of them will go due to the short notice. They're all rich compared to me, and more than likely will be off on the day. Aaarrgh.

For yesterday, today and tomorrow I'm helping out in this summer soccer camp thing for my local club. Yesterday was great, all the kids were really sweet and cute and stuff and it was really fun. Today though, they turned into a group of little brats. Some of them are the cheekiest little feckers. What's worse is I'm so so tired, I've slept for about 3 hours each of the previous 2 nights. Not looking forward to tomorrow.
There is, however, this one adorable little guy called Alex. He's like 5 and he's really cheeky but in a cute way. He can't kick a ball like but he's always just running around laughing anyway. I love him

Edit: No I haven't turned into a woman but I can see why you would think that.

Wouldn't that be in the LC forum? Those CAO points, exam obsessed lot were never great for the bants back in my day. Not that I can talk, I was probably one of the least social regulars :pac:

Well we were informed that the off-topic of 2011 (the most active Leaving Cert off-topic thread prior to this year) was posted in very rarely compared to our ones, like it could easily goes days without posts, whereas we often have 100 posts day.

LC2011 was all about quality over quantity. Also, we were way better looking and more intelligent.
