    Fancy a solid pistol?

    http://youtu.be/sGr_XoFTKmc

Could be a useful technique if you needed to make a custom part

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,621 ✭✭✭Jsmurff

That's pretty cool but it looks like they used a fresh billet of steel with no impurities that's got to be expensive lol

It's aluminium that was sourced from drinks cans. He has a recent video on making the "foundry " to melt them down

They are ugly as sin! :P still tho that's pretty cool. Gamesworkshop (warhammer warhammer 40K) were on the hunt for 3D files of their products on the web when commercially available printers came on the market

I wonder if TM will be taking the same steps considering their products are abs?

New tech always brings in new problems for copyright.

It'll be sorted though. And for now, the cost of 3D printing/3D printers is high enough to not make it worth it to try pirate airsoft guns.

Oh god now I can imagine an airsoft section to Piratebay.

If someone was savy enough to invest in an industrial size printer they could succeed where guarder failed and actually produce a robust polycarbanite kit for the FN 5-7! 2 years later and they are still pumping out the same week ass sh1t! They could pretty much do a number of pistol parts even grips handgaurd rail covers back up sights ect

Could probably make grips that fit your hand exactly, using a mold of your grip as reference.

Would eliminate the "Doesn't fit right" problem some people have.

True that would be neet but for something as big as the 5-7 or even the desert eagle the size of the mag is the problem there's actually very little grip to play with on those models

On the other hand if WE were to produce models adjustable back straps like gen 4 stuff that would be awesome

It looks like a mockup and not an actual pistol. They've ruined a perfectly good pistol if you ask me

By all accounts ics are great performers but I just can't get arround the looks of their rifles

I can see the appeal of this on though, it has tacticool up the wazoo

Not a huge fan of super mega ultra tactical with enough rails to put Irish Rail to shame. I usually find them somewhat uncomfortable to hold without buying rail covers.

Give me a nice wooden handguard and a comfy grip and I'm happy.
