Matt Stafford 4/4, 2 of those to Megatron, one for a 26 yard TD. Welcome back :D

Oh God, you actually feel sorry for Henne at this point. 1 pass, 1 interception. The fans will go to town on him.

Redskins carved open the Steelers D and Tim Hightower running like a pro bowler as they swept down the field with ease

Then shank a 29 yard FG wide, typical Redskins

Some like Matt Williamson of ESPN declaring the Redskins pre season champions.
It's not a desirable tag, remember the Lions won all their preseason games and then lost every regular season game

But the Skins played well last night, Rex Grossman especially in the first half and Clemens did well in the second.
Especially good was Donte Stallworth and unlike the Ravens they actually use him correctly and utilize his speed to burn down the outside

Not a high scoring win but enjoyable to watch

Apparently the security at Soldier Field are preventing the media taking pictures of the field. Seems the turf is still a big issue in Chicago!

In other news the Cam Newton era begins tonight. He'll be coming on after Clausen.

Its only an issue because of what happened last friday night. A week is a long time to prepare a pitch. From what i've seen on net the pitch is in good shape, some seams are visible but level with rest of field. In saying that who knows what may happen it during the match

Any streams showing the Bears Bills game

Can Newton looked twice the player Clausen last night - not very hard but for Clausen to throw a pick on his first down was jaw dropping and then Cam shows up for a long scoring drive. Newton has to be the starter this season...

Really enjoyed watching the Texans come back and beat the Jets tonight.:D

This isn't going to be pretty.

Nope. Looks like it could be a blowout already.

3 and out Bucs. Patriots Drive 65yds for a TD. in 2:08 mins!

Hope the Bucs can get a rhythm going.

Wouldn't mind a look at Josh Johnson
Was an excellent player in college, saw him when the Bucs played the Patriots in Wembley.
Actually he got benched that game for Josh Freeman and the rest is history.

Clearly not going to unseat Number Five but there were rumors he'd reunite with his college coach Harbaugh in San Francisco

Patriots D dominating Tampa's O line. Pats everywhere in the backfield!

2nd 3 and Out for Freeman.

Brady getting huge time in the pocket, great protection from the O line

    14-0 Pats.
    Ochocinco.

Sean Jones looks lost, was missing for both TD's.

Im afraid the Bucs look way out of their depth. Might cool some of the hype.
    Might be bedtime soon :(

    21-0

    BJGE

    Depressing Fact:

Brian Hoyer has had 1 snap and has the same amount of 1st Downs as Freeman.

    6 Penalties for the Bucs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

    They have to punt again.

Is the o line anything like it'll be in the regular season? I'm not sure who the starters are on the Bucs.

Asante Samuel gambling as usual, ball thrown over him for an easy TD with Antonio Brown

    Steelers up on Eagles

Samuel is a good player but when the gambles fail it realy stands out

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,769 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I think the Pats are looking to go 23-0 this season based on how seriously they are taking preseason.:D

Just hand us over the Lombardi trophy now and we promise not to embarrass you all this season. Deal?

    :pac:

Careful, you'll jinx your team with that kind of talk

    Which reminds me
Not only do semantics matter, they also can bring a team a little luck. Back in 2000, Brian Billick, then the Ravens coach, did not want to jinx the team's chance to make it to the post-season by mentioning the words "playoffs." He substituted the word "festivus".
Then as the team reached the Super Bowl they decided Festivus Maximus was the perfect phrase for that.

Oh I see. Like when people were crowning you after the beat down you put on the Jets in the regular season.

No way you guys could lose to them when it mattered a few weeks later. :pac::p
