    Not necessarily. I still cant get mine to work. I can get BBCNi on 101 and UTV on 103 etc
    But when I put in the Irish card they disappear. This is white Ex NI sub card. Is that different to a NI FTV card?

    Got the card activated but no joy with trick. The blue button works just like it worked with the blue London card but no trick channels on epg. Waste of €26. Back to the drawing board me thinks!!

    I have two boxs working with the card try deleting all your other channels insert ftv card and add utv and all ch5's & itv's ect save to others & fav's go to tv guide swopcards it should work now.

    You won't got bbc ni on 101
    If your are close to navan you can try my card if yous want

    Looking nice:D Looks like a late night for me...... P.S. I think the reason 178(ITV1 HD) isn't working with the NI card is because there's no ITV(HD) match in other channels for UTV. No ITV1+1 either because there's no UTV+1.

    Why don't they just put the bloody ITV's on the epg even if its subscription only like in NI, viewers need a sub to view the RTE's. I think everyone would be happy with that.

    That's the new EPG.

    Weirdly - I didn't have the card trick working on my box with the new EPG(despite trying) yet suddenly yesterday, I had duplicated favorites in my guide (two RTE One etc). Had to reset. :(

    Could the people who have the trick working give us a step by step of how they get the trick working from scratch? Ie after a power cut.

    Using a NI FTV card(white one)
    Delete all favourites and other channels with both your ROI sub card and then your NI FTV card.

    Force software download with NI FTV card in box.

    With NI FTV card in box add relevant channels to "other channels"

    Add channels to favourites.

    Select ITV2 in other channels

    Leave for 5 minutes

    Ensure Channel banner has populated with now & next on ITV 2

    Remove NI FTV

    Insert ROI sub

    Wait 5 minutes

    select channel 118

    Works for me

    Also tried with a midlands east FTV card,but would not work

    NOTE--Trick would not work before I did forced software download
    with NI FTV card in.

    That could be why some people are having trouble on the two boxs I have working I forced the update with FTV card in

    I followed your brilliant instructions to the letter but no joy unfortunately. I lost the blue button channels too so had to revert to my ancient London card. The blue button is better than nothing I suppose.

    I think it has got to do with the forced update. I did the forced update with the NI card. When I look at the telephone numbers on the Sky EPG they are all UK numbers so the box is tricked...
