Over a game of poker last night we polished off a caskmates, a mano a lamb and a yellow spot in that order so the yellow spot was kind of wasted.

There was a special release from redbrest called mano a lamb. Limited run of 2000 bottles and could only be bought direct from midletons website. I had help taking down two of them over the xmas.

Sounds like that was a waste of good whiskey!

"mano a lamh" for fecks sake. Spanish and Irish for hand. No lambs were killed to produce this whiskey.

I can only assume auto correct is to blame.

The three year old Havana is very nice and so easily drank. Polished a bottle of that of in one go over the summer. To say I had an unpleasant day the next day is an understatement of epic proportions.

Thought i would give this thread a bit of a bump since i rearranged the drink into a proper cabinet.

Alot of unopened bottles that havent had an occasion for yet but also a lot of crap that will just never be drank yet it just doesnt feel right binning it.

Went rooting through our shelves today as it's International Gin & Tonic Day (yeah yeah, any excuse).

I was actually disappointed that I could only find 4 types of gin
    Martin Miller's
    Bombay Sapphire
    Bulldog
    Ungava

I know we recently finished a bottle of Gin Mare, but I could have sworn we had a bottle of Tanqueray. Ah well.

Gin Mare is a cracking gin!

It's probably my favourite. Add in rosemary and olives for extra oomph.

I've tried Copperhead gin a few times recently in Amsterdam and I'm planning to get a bottle of that next. It's very tasty

I've not tried Copper Head but it is pricy.
I think the "copper" bottle is trying a bit too hard - puts me off buying it.

I can recommend a gin to you!

Couple of the bottles are hidden and I've added a nice Brockman's to it since. Mostly used for "research" for cocktails. Hard having to bring work home with ya :pac::pac:

Nah, I can't find it here either. Got some on amazon posted to a UK address so when anyone is visiting they bring it over. Picked some up while in sainsburys UK last week. I'll tell you something though, it's absolutely delicious!! Ice been through about six bottles of it over the last few months
