I only wish decent Whiskey was the same price per litre as petrol.

And I thought I had a thing for Bushmills. I was made take the glass display case out of the living room but it never had whiskey in it in the first place!

Was able to make the most of Duty Free over the last year. Realistically its cost me a fortune but I only see how much of a saving I made! :o
Some sourced from Germany non Duty Free, like the 200ml singles and triple packs. Mostly Scotch due to availability, but moving more into Irish now.
Nice to see other fans of Bushmills, 16 is one of my favorites of all.

Kinda disappointed with it to be honest. Delighted when I saw the small version available so I could try without opening the main just yet, saving for special occasion.
Bit of a let down once I tried it though. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but I actually prefer the green 15yr or the gold 18yr. Lucky to grab a couple of each of them seeing as they're discontinued.
Maybe my palate is still too much of a newbie.

The glenfiddich sounds lovely Greg. Hope it goes down just as well. How much is that setting you back? Might be worth buying one if I could. Give scotch another crack.

It came in such a big box there was no way of it fitting under the tree so I had no choice but to open it.

Haven't you heard though, Irelands cheap below cost alcohol causes us all to be raging alcoholics :pac:

Tesco do actually sell below-cost* white rum** (that is, in my opinion, better than Bacardi Superior by a huge margin). That's about it though :(

*due to our ridiculous duty, its still dearer than abroad

** which is in my photos from up-thread. I don't feel like posting any more til I get a nice display unit like the rest of you, though
