Sorry, what happened with Alonso and Webber? What potential slap on the wrist?

Alonso ran out of fuel on the way back after the race. Webber stopped and picked him up. It's not allowed anymore, basically.

Great race! So angry with Alonso (I am not a Hamilton fan :D). Have to say that Hamilton did drive really well. Schumacher seems to be getting there, but there's one thing every race that is costing him. Massa clearly not the driver he used to be - he should be delighted with the #2 position because he is nowhere close to challenging.

Can't believe that the race didn't need rain to be interesting. Almost a novelty!

It was nice to see Massa actually manage to hold someone off for a change, so many times already this year when in a racing situation the car behind (usually a RB or Mc) just drive straight past him without any notable defence on Massa's part,
He showed today that he can hold up a competitor, reigning world champ Seb Vettel( 1 L, 2 T's:D) at that,
Complete shambles of a pit stop though, from him and the team, it almost looked like an attempt to disturb Vettel the way he coasted to the line then slammed on the brakes like a cat ran across his front wing, and about as tardy as you can be when changing tyres.

Delighted for Hammy, he was so happy throughout the weekend, even when claiming the car hadn't a hope of a top finish, he just seemed relaxed and totally comfortable in the car,
Didn't even destroy his tyres with his hotlaps like he usually does.

So desperate for a good finish from Schuey, its always a case of "If only he hadn't" in the races now, if he cuts the 1 mistake per race then he can challenge Rosberg and then who knows...

Alonso just let Hamilton drive around the outside, he didn't see him and gave him far to much room

Not seeing someone, & giving someone too much room are two different things though. Some might say you'd have to be pretty good to come up behind Alonso & slip around him ;)

If he didn't see them anyone could do it. That's why it was a terrible mistake on Alonso part.

He goes well in the races though apart from the mistakes. If he was out front, he wouldnt make so many mistakes. :D
He is not there is quali. He has not once pulled out a special lap in quali 3 since his comeback. He used to do it week in, week out to snatch pole.
I think he is suffering a great deal from testing ban.

Thats fair enough but he still seems to make his mistakes when he shouldnt. I guess if you leave yourself with only one chance at a lap, that is likely to happen though.

Something people seem to forget about Schumi is that he had no experience with KERS before this year. Remember how it took Kimi half a season to get used to it and remember when Fisichella jumped into the Ferrari in the middle of 09?
