Quite well suited to play a few minutes at a time, since the jobs are quite short unless your looking for collectables.

Download an free games you see now for the vita - if you choose to definitely get one later well these will come in very handy - exactly what I did, just waiting on the postman now any day...

The only con is the price of the memory cards.

    Found a few options.

extravision were doing it last week with cod & 4gig for 199.
But I found barebones on amazon.it - including shipping brought it to 171 - still waiting and no tracking # so I am a bit nervous right now.

In terms of the 32 gig - could not find any in the stores around me, tried Gamestop, Smyths, PC World so ended up getting one on Amazon.co.uk, also due this week with a pouch...

If I had seen the amazon offer first I might have gone there - I know it is over 20E more expensive but prefer to have a bricks and mortar store if anything goes wrong - but it is quite a saving - 28Euro... price of one of the discounted games.... But you do get cod and a 4gig card - well worth 28Euro...

Bear in mind, the copy of call of duty is pre installed on the system. And if your Dublin based, Cex sells memory cards cheaper than RRP.

So the vita arrived this afternoon from Italy as did the memory card from the UK
Just copying across now some of the games I downloaded - but have to say already mega impressed - amazed at how light yet how responsive the unit is.

Don't think my wife will be seeing much of me for the next while.

Because you'll be playing it so much or because she doesn't know you bought it and you want to keep it that way.

Trails in the sky is an awesome game.

Trails in the sky is an awesome game.

I really need to get this at some stage. I'm loving the Vita the last while, for the last while I only get decent gaming on handhelds. Got Tomba! there recently and nearly finished, god damn that game is fun :D

OK - so a day into having the vita.
Compared to getting the PSP on launch I have to say I am much happier.
Selection of games I had saved on the PS3 from + really help. As well as just buying persona2 + sky trails - though with my BB it will take probably a few days to download.

Method of transferring the games from the PS3 is also quite nice.

Overall - really impressed, love how light it is (thought I had been ripped off); like the interfaces and really enjoying how some of the games make use of it - Drake / Space Blob.

Cheers all - guess I will be in here a lot more over the next while as I get more used to it. Did see a post a few pages back on Netflix - might dig that out in a few weeks.

Just seen this on Hotukdeals.com Persona 4 is $30 on Play-Asia at the moment, it is a US version. Region Free so no problems.
