    From what I remember of some of them sightings, the Jerusalem one was a marketing hoax, the Norwegian was a Russian rocket test, I remember thinking at the time the Chinese ones looked military, the Moscow one was a natural weather effect.

    If they want any credibility, why do they show and repeat several debunked video reports? Also it says at the start the ufo reports are rocketing, that might have something to do with increased population, and more people to misidentify things? And in the 50s there was mass interest in ufos.

    I care what you post, opinions are just as valid as Youtube videos.

    I always laugh when someone links to Youtube as validation of a point they make.
    Youtube has a lot to answer for.
    I have even seen people link WIKI and then when the evidence wasnt there admit that they hadnt WRITTEN it yet :D
    Create a Wiki page and then use that to back up your point (no ideas on here please) :rolleyes:

    I understand your reluctance, but the chances of there being intelligent life elsewhere in the universe that has achieved the ability to cross vast distances (which in and of itself is something we have very little practical idea how to do) and within the infinite vastness of the universe managed to find our little ball of rock is so goddamn astronomical that it rightfully belongs in the realm of fiction.
    And no low res youtube video can change that fact. You might not be able to instantly identify what something is that does not make it extraterrestrial.

    Don't get me wrong, I do believe that there is a good chance that there is intelligent life on other worlds, i just do not believe we will ever meet them.

    The idea that it's an elaborate 'false-flag' in order to unite the world doesn't really pan out either -unless the person running this is named Adrian Veidt. The timescale of these 'sightings' spreads out over such a long time that it's impossible to imagine someone not letting it slip.
    And even if such secrecy could be maintained what's the endgame?
    How does one fake an alien invasion/attack?

    I told you. Apophenia - seeing meaningful patterns or connections in random or meaningless data. Between that and the hoaxes you've got every UFO sighting covered.
