Cheers I'll check them but don't think they are sticking...I haven't driven it this week other then go out the drive and turn it around to polish it in the shade...there was abit of rust on the discs due to all the rain during the week.

They seem clear now since I took it for a spin earlier...but sticky calipers are notorious on MR2s alright.

Gave mine an oil service yesterday then set about giving it a good clean. I bounced off the launch control and while doing that the distributor died... gah!

Going to have to pinch the dizzy from the race car tomorrow and sort it

So she's tucked away in a mates garage until tomorrow

None of them work, take it from someone who spent 3 years and nearly 2k trying every form of pop up gazebo, roll out awning, carport - one gust of 10mph wind and you're fighting to keep it all under control.

Not quite a gazebo but we used to have a huge tent that you could fit 2 cars into, never tried it though. Stayed in it plenty of nights where it was plenty windy too, would have easily worked for the above.

any idea lads how i can remove a keyed door on my accord?

some Muppet done this i think recently as i don't remember it like that when i bought it.

i got several t cuts, scratch removers etc but can never seem to use them right.

any advise on how to polish this car also would be nice as i was told it would cost me £200 over here !

Unfortunately it very unlikely you could polish a keyed scratch out. General rule of thumb is if you can catch your nail in the scratch it won't polish out.

+1 - What you can do is D/A it a bit, this will make it less obvious by smoothing off the edges and taking away the chalk-effect in the lacquer coat.

You're using T-cut for a start. Useless stuff.

Machine polisher would be ideal, you only need to go over one small part if you could get a lend of one.

    Use something like AG SRP.

AG SRP will only fill the scratch and not correct it, you'd need to use something like Menzerna Final Finish/Power Finish/Intensive Polish (Start off with the one with least cut and work your way up IMO)

no idea what that means :p

getting my alloys refurbed for 300quid Wednesday, a guy there will 'fix' the scratch for 30 quid but he said not guaranteed.

doesn't look too bad, its a smart repair, alloy wheel place.

they should be able to sort it out.

Gave mine (Volkswagen bora) a cleaning out and put in new floor mats for the new owner, I'm getting rid of it two weeks and currently looking for a new car!

If the question is what SHOULD it be used for, answer is nothing. It's everywhere because people buy it thinking it actually does something to fix scratches, it only fills them in temporarily.
