The results.. I think I'll slowly walk away with the envelope and make for the furthest point of the school away from my fellow "JCers". Then I'll unmask the result of the work I've put in to myself slowly by a cumbersome slipping of the first grade into my view, *a faster heart-beat* I'll finally adjust to acknowledging the Results as they are with an upheaval of the sheet from the brown envelope. *red in the face, I think I'll cry*

I doubt it'll be this precise.

I don't want to make known my Results to my friends as they will probably spread it around, then the major begrudgery will be assured. I will tell my teachers on a quiet note and thank them, after the crowds of my fellow "JCers" flood the school en-route for teachers have been back-washed and then I will tell my parents.

I feel quite nervous, reconciled to this post and the fact that, The Junior Certificate Results for 2011 are a mere twenty-three days away.

I'm not nervous about the results.

I'm going to take my envelope then leave the school and walk home, I'm going to open it, by myself and think about the results :pac:

    If they're good I'll tell people but if they're not I won't :P IRL

But I'll say here like :P

One of my friends burned the unopened envelope. :P

As regards to results, in my school, we all opened them where we got them and everyone basically told everyone else what they got. I don't think anyone refused to share their results.

Actually you got it spot on ^
I'll see the very first grade and if it's bad, I'll instantly be crushed, but I'll keep going, at least woodwork is like last to show :D
    23 days til results...
    About seven days til school...
ONE day til Eminem. Wow. :O

One of my friends are planning on opening the results, get one of us to look at them and not tell him, put a rock in the envelope with the results and lash it into the lake :pac:
He only wants to know if he passed everything, but he doesnt want to know his grades :pac:

He was sick for the exams and didn't sit them so his results were meaningless. All his grades were based solely off the submitted write ups, like the science practicals and the CSPE booklet. It isn't nearly half as bad-ass as it sounds. :P

I don't know what type of envelopes you get, but the ones we got would struggle to fit a stone into them.

I'm not going to tell my teachers what I got unless I got an A in their subject. :o

Obviously, they will know anyway but I'm not going to go up and tell them about it.

Mark, in answer to your question, the difference is phenomenal - about 10 or 20 yoyo's, in fact. It's that bad that the shops in the South are removing the sterling tags from all their stock  ridiculous
