    3.20 Southwell Abergavenny 1.89 €15.00 lay tbp

Has ran well at Lingfield but best efforts have been on GF on turf, wouldn't be convinced Abergavenny will take a liking to the underfoot surface today, not at odds on tbp anyway.

6.45 K Black Iceman 3.55 €10.00 backed tbp, nice chunky price, HCers efforts might not keep this one from being involved.

    7.45 Kempton Magicalmysterytour 18.44 €6.00 and at SP €4, tbp 4.7 €3.00

Only beaten 1 1/2l in September on turf at Tork off 77 in a 0 to 85 over 16f, that was after a pipe opener and Magicalmysterytour has had a run here on 26Jan over the 12f trip.

Competitive race and a good few with chances but 17/1 is a tad big for this one, has ran well on the AW before so I reckon there's no reason why a decent run couldn't be a possibility off 72 from this 9yo.

I also like Exemplary back over the 2m trip but the price is too skimpy for me.

    8.15 My Best Man 19.5 €10.0 backed and tbp 5.8 €6.00

Won over CD 3 runs ago, 6lbs higher, but managed a 2nd after the win over a furlong shorter here, needs the 7f trip, last run was poor enough but ignoring that and this one would be half the price so the value is huge me thinks.

    2.50 Lingfield Maslak 3.75 €13.00

Weak enough 13f 0 to 65 race, Maslak loves it around here, won over CD off 54, than was beaten by a length and a half off 4lbs higher over 16f and then just held on over 12f off 59 last time out, the return to 13f should suit and the mark of 63 may well not anchor Maslak given the form he's in.

In March 2011 Maslak came 2nd off 66 in a 0 to 75 here beaten by the 5/6 fav so the current mark really isn't that offputting at all.

    5.05 Lingfield Saucy Buck 6.2 €20.50

A poor looking 0 to 60 7f contest, very few of these look to have too much going for them, Saucy Buck appeals though. Saucy Buck's last two runs were here over CD and both displays showed that the trip is well within range, lto he finished 3rd, beaten a length, I feel that he wasn't made full use of and also didn't have a perfect run home when unleashed despite not having actual traffic problems if ye get what I mean. Before that off a slightly higher mark was caught very wide so effectively had little chance but still looked interested on the run home.

The price is decent if things drop right, I have no worries over trip, surface or current rating or recent form so happy to back.

    5.45 w'ton War Of The Roses 4.4 €25.00

Won a similar race over Cd off 61 in April, up to 68 after that and back to 65 now, also back over 14f after a couple of 12f runs, not many of the field are proven over the trip.

In running lay in case caught close home
