How the hell are you supposed to understand Irish politics if you are some randomer from a small island in the Med? Chances are they only know about Ireland cause of the troubles.

I cant tell you how many times I have heard some americans say "Ireland? Isnt that were everybody blows each other up?".

    More advertising.

While firstly being made aware of the message, which is the point.
Now you're actually having a laugh or being as naive as DeV.
Nope, and that just proves that you haven't been reading my words.
Oh I've been "reading your words" alright. Well I've been accused of being obtuse and arrogant often enough(with good reason), but you're taking the biscuit ATM. Lets play join the dots then. Come down to the mortal level and pass on your wisdom.
But that's cool, I'm not the one spreading the message. Good to see the topic generate discussion on boards too now though. Yet another platform the message is spreading onto. :)
Local community having a message does not the world community make. I wish it did, but it doesn't.

You seem to think daft web meme = spreading an idea to millions. Yes you're entirely correct. If it's a daft meme. Can you give me an example of a serious subject that has been transmitted/spread to good effect on youtube? Using youtube as the host, sure. Neda Soltan dying online in Iran had an effect. More through the hosting aspect than on Youtube itself and that was a woman dying, not some "not in my name" guff circle jerk rhetoric. Better off coming up with some voguish wristband than looking to youtube.

Lol, not sure why you're so vehemently against this Wibbs, but I think it's a great idea, guess the disagreement will have to be our agreement :)

I had to talk to my kids over breakfast about the bombs on a bus in maynooth and on the LUAS this morning, they were worried about going to school, our friends in maynooth and family members who work in Dublin city.

WTF this is not the Ireland they know and it is one which I hoped we would never return to.
Those carrying out these pointless terrorist attacks on Irish people need to stop.
