This round you do all your swaps in one. I think you are forgetting a few injuries;)

Jeshua Anderson for Jeremy Wariner. I think that's it for me.

Eee, I've toyed with replacing Hooker with Walker in the PV but I'll go with Steve - what a competitor.

So - four throwers, two vaulters, two MD runners, one each of HJ, LJ, high hurdler and multi-eventer. Team Jersey raring to go.

Sorry again guys, just home from holidays. I won't make any changes to my selection.

  • Registered Users Posts: 439 ✭✭longjump67

Would do my brain in to start going over more picks so I won't be changing anyone on my team

If it's not too late I'd like to make one change, just after reading that LJ Van Zyle was suffering from fatigue last month after a long season. While he is still probably a medal contender, I'd worry about him.

I'll shove in Jamal Maryam Yusuf instead.

Considering someone skipped my turn I declare his null and void so I will let you change :D

Ill make one switch Mokeana out and ill shove in Brian Clay now that he is actually competing (hopefully do better than US Nationals:D)

Not my turn i know but i wont be making any changes to my team when its my go, was gonna change bekele but now that he is running i'm ok. Might speed up things a little bit.

I've been out of touch with what has been going on the last few weeks so I'm not sure if any of my athletes have had injuries or not made their team or whatever. It would wreck my head spending ages doing google searches so I'm going to make one sub, for the athlete I know for sure wont be in Daegu.

I'll make a direct sub. Same event, same nationality.

Ezekiel Kemboi for Paul Kipsiele Koech please. How did that one slip through the net. 7.55 in Monaco.

    Hey Guys

Just back from holidays and it seems my team has taken a bit of a bashing. Anyone mind me making subs at such a late stage?

  • Registered Users Posts: 440 ✭✭runjb

Welcome back ecoli. I'd say no one will mind, as Powell and Clay are out from injuries. Go ahead and swap.

Go ahead yeah. In the interests of fairness only replace non runners though (Powell for you is it?). Huge benefit having the odds and previews for most events now.

And best of luck to everyone!

In Yelena Slesarenko and Yohan Blake

I have no problem with that ecoli, competition hasn't started yet and you have been unfortunate in terms of injury withdrawals.

Just for anyone who missed the scoring post from the last thread here is how it went (IIRC we didnt change that anywhere in this thread)

    gold 12
    silver 9
    bronze 8
    4th 6
    5th 5
    6th 4
    7th 3
    8th 2

Typical I back the marathon's every time they become available with the bookies and always get it wrong and one time I dont i nail it spot on:rolleyes:

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,076 Mod ✭✭✭✭Dan man

I've already used up one of my discard scores with Ozaki scoring me a big fat zero in the marathon. Not to worry, 11 more to go.
