The official Dublin Bus iPhone app is nice, but missing a few features such as making the stops i use most frequently or have marked as favourites more prominent in the interface and forgetting my place if i switch away from and back to the app
    Otherwise i'm quite happy!

Pressing the heart symbol on the top right of the app brings you instantly to your favourites.

A couple of things relating to this..

    1. Who maintains them? - The stop nearest to my work location is on the blink (well, display is corrupt) for the last couple of days and is partly illegible. sorted.

    2. I used the text service (53035) yesterday to find out that buses 2 and 3 on the text never arrived. If they did, they were 20 minutes later than predicted.

I used the text service today, it said there were two buses at 8:48 (not unusual, the 18 is demented) but when I got to the stop and checked again (just in case, I was a minute or two late) it told me next bus was 914... figured I'd just missed them. Until they passed me at 905 a good bit down the road :(

Perhaps the text system isn't as real time as the other systems, the replication out to the text service may be flaky or insufficiently frequent?
