That is the way the govt put people against people and are as guilty of not caring as it was claimed about socialists. not that i am a socialist but no difference between the way enda lackeys work and socialists

    you said
"A boycott of our own people?"

My point is it is no different to the claims made that socialists and political people are using the water protests for their own ends

first let me say I have no connection at all with Topaz,or know anyone working there....If you had family/friends working at a Topaz station, would you protest there? If it went on long term, jobs may be lost....If the claim that socialists and political people were using it for their own ends,it would be to gain votes,/a seat in the cushy house....Would you see a difference there?

I have no connection with topaz either. I have not protested anywhere at all. I just say people have right to protest as denied by some here, especially those who try to serve their govt masters by saying ten year olds are intimidating

The point i am making is the govt are no better than the socialists. the govt are inn the cushy house and it will be their fault if people turn on O'Brien and topaz. If people lose jobs the govt are responsible for setting people against people by the way irish water was created and alowed to act re pps etc. So while it may be true socialists and other hijack protests for their own needs it is also true the govt are using irish water for their need and making peole pay twice who cannot afford to spend their time in the sun while their employees make them money or eat in fancy restaurants while denying people to protest who cannot vfeed children. there is no govt=good protesters and socialists =bad which kennys lackey try to claim

And the farmers are protesting again today. Hope they have no toy tractors.fierce intimidating

If you read posts correctly, you'll find that 10 year olds are not intimidating, unlike some of the older protesters. Some of us simply believe that the sight of a 10 year old on a picket line with a megafone is not right. It's the type of thing seen in cultures that have no respect for their children.
I don't get your point about farmers? I'm assuming it's a dig at me?

no you did not state it as a belief. you think you are above others. i said farmers protest for farmers dole* and nurses protest too. the point was people have right to protest including a ten year old. Your opinion is just your opinion. Don't use it to try make the protestors wrong. and you do not know who respects their children and who does not. And calling him intimidating is nonsense

*Someone i know was in a pub years ago and a farmer slagged him about being on dole. He pointed out the farmers get dole too but it is under a fancy name. That shut him up. Story last week
A farm family with €300,000 in their bank account still managed to get a grant to send their child to college, according to revelations in a new book[\quote].cannot put up urls

I saw a won't pay sign tonight got quite the panic attack

do you object to the farmers protesting as you try to label the anti water. yes nurses are very clever adults who use the sick as pawns in their power games and fartmers are adults who want to pay for nothing

so its only children you discriminate against and you fear children but not adults. Not for you to say who can protest

what have you done with quoting they are backwards. you have me saying "I've NO objection to any ADULTS protesting PEACEFULLY."

John Lynch specialises in family law I think.

So in brief Yorker we are not allowed to 'label' anti water but you can repeatedly label nurses ( using the sick as pawns) and farmers ( farmers dole)
    Good man

No idea but the fact that they were closed can't be good.

Looking at the news last night on RTE and lots of farmers out protesting about cattle prices at the factorys.

I noticed there were quiet a number of children present carrying slogans etc and thought why not?

After all it,s their future that;s at stake I suppose.

But I would agree children should not be present if there's any risk of nastiness, verbal or physical.

The pub food is really nice for pub grub. Be very interested in trying the steakhouse.
