    I despair.

Facebook reached a whole new low for me yesterday.

Fb friend lost a baby about half way through pregnancy 12 years ago, photos of the child's headstone and sitting on the grave etc.

Having miscarried myself I have every sympathy for such a loss but Jesus that just doesn't belong on Facebook. I can't bring myself to click "like" on such posts :(

That's horrendous..should be kept private. Some people genuinely don't know how to let a moment pass without capturing it on their phone these days.

How the hell does this work, the auschwitz memorial of 70 years has one documentry on BBC2 not even BBC1 and nothing on any other channel, a major part of history and one of the most shocking acts ever recorded. Yet a celebrity dies or they shock the world after a compromised photoshoot guarantees most channels 1 to 5 will almost certainly have coverage. Fecked up and disrespectful so it is!!!

I usually find that if someone is trying to drag me down, it's because their foot is caught in me hair extensions.

I have seen photos of a dead baby as it lies in it's coffin on facebook. Not much surprises me anymore.

I wouldn't share stuff like this either, but in fairness, if it helps somebody to get through a very, very difficult time, let them share away. If you don't like their stuff, hide their updates or defriend, it's not that difficult.

If only I'd been able to see in to the future and anticipated that post from the unexpected source. Now why didn't I just think of that :D

I think we've been down this road before on this thread…

The way I'd look at it is, I wouldn't dream of doing it in a million years but if a woman or couple want to share with people a picture of the baby they lost, I reckon I'll give them a free pass on it…

In fairness, thats pretty good progress in 3 weeks. Someone posting that they are excited about celebrity big bro and I would assume they are too much of a f**ktard do even know the Holocaust happened.
They appear to be on their way to being a useful member of the human race.

Or maybe it was Auntie Sorcha.

You really realise you are getting old when you struggle to understand text speak.

A distant relative of mine went a step further and put up a picture of the miscarried baby. Those imagines will haunt me for life, things dont usually effect me that much but I felt physically sick.

how the flip did he spell first half of the sentence perfectly and make a complete mess of the second part.? Surely if you remember to capitalize the W in Wednesday , you can spell anti?

Their phone probably capitalised the W in Wednesday, just like google chrome added a z to your spelling of 'capitalise' :P

In short, yes. When you signed up for a network that is based around user-generated content, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that some of that content is not to your own taste. If your sensitivity to such content exceeds your ability to give someone who has just lost a baby a break, then maybe Facebook is not the place for you. Or Twitter. Or Tumblr. Or anything that doesn't have a full-time editor with similar sensitivities to you reviewing content

Imagine a world in which someone can spell Prosecco but cannot spell toast...
Don't even get me started on the 'sexy' newborn, eek!

It's spelt with a "z" when using American English, as is "recognize", "pluralize", etc.

However, using UK English (or correct English :D :pac:) it's spelt with an "s".
