Not great shots, but a good excuse to go back on a clear day and do better.

When you start seeing masts on the side of the road...You know you're doing it right!

Also, I thought it was a nice touch to have a mysterious finish line at the end of my spin. Thank you unknown spray-painter! Will try to finish my cycles around there more often.

Picinisco earlier today. It's a nice climb up to the onetime home of DH Lawrence. He wrote a lot about riding so it seemed appropriate.

Got one (only one :() spin in recently on a family holiday, 30' in the shade !
I did the Kaiser Willheim climb, over 2km @ 7%, beautiful climb up through the woods up to the monument, but I did it on a 15 or 20kg monster

It's around this location in Germany that the flatish North starts to give way to the lumpy South.

I went to find the biggest climb I could today. http://app.strava.com/rides/17830809
View from halfway back down. The mountains in the distance are where I started and finished.

just to prove we do get some nice weather in Ireland sometimes, a couple taken last Friday at the Log in Ballyhoura, where the brown run heads for home and the white trail continues on, was some day for a bit of mountain biking

It is very hot today. 36c in the shade here in Saint-Savin.
I went for a ride down the valley this morning before it got too hot. This is half way up the climb to Lias, looking down on Lourdes and the plains beyond.
