It just keeps preciping here but has not moved away from its current sleety rain type.

    Although there is more iciness!

    Some slow moving shower!

    Met Forecast is hilarious
Some further showers to come tonight, a few of which will be wintry with the risk of thunder too. The showers will be heaviest across west and northwest counties, though parts of Munster and Leinster will stay largely if not completely dry under clear skies. Wind will be mainly light northerly, but fresher near Connacht and Ulster coasts. A slight to sharp frost will develop, with the risk of some icy stretches. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees, coldest for southern counties.

Come here, torrential rain/sleet and roads flooding for last 2 hours!

didn't get any snow around navan, but i have friends living in tenerife and they had snow last night and this morning, which is pretty much unheard of at or around sea level there.

you do quite often get snow on the top of the volvcano, but you usually get people sunbathing all year round along the coast give or take the odd chilly day, so snow in mid-march is a bit of a major event for them.

Was out in the hills today. Snowline at around 120m on Errigal and 300m on Muckish. Drifts up to 2ft. Snow wasn't frozen onto the rocks though. ANy ice was very soft.
