Prague ranged from 75 euro to 95 euro. There were different levels. Platinum, gold, silver, bronze and standing.

I imagine London would be fairly similar.

Thanks! Going for standing so hoping it'll be the lower end of the scale. Glad to see they aren't doing any of that "golden circle" rubbish that we're seeing a lot more of these days.

Think I'll be getting tickets for Milton Keynes as it's a Saturday and flights can be gotten cheap and I've a relative in London. Wondering if it'll be easy enough to get back to London after? I would imagine they'd run extra trains for big shows?

Also can't see a price anywhere, anyone manage to catch this?

It is a bit of pain to get out there, it will take around an hour and a half between the train and walking to the stadium if you leave from Euston.

On the way back it could take over two hours, the mind boggles as to why they picked Milton Keynes.

Would say Milton Keynes will be stupidly expensive compared to the rest of Europe

Tried getting tickets to Paris, no luck. Barcelona the same, and I just can't be bothered with Milton Keynes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,890 ✭✭✭grimm2005

Got one for Milton Keynes there, looks like they're gone already. Was £71 for standing but there was no print at home or card pickup options so had to pay an extra £13.50 for delivery

Ah well, it would have been about €100 here anyway I guess.

I bought a €40 ticket once to see Queens of the Stone Age in Berlin and the only delivery option to Ireland was DHL for €45, no pickup. Just had to pay it in the end.

That's mental. This is the first time I've never seen an option for print at home on Ticketmaster.

Ah well, looking forward to the show now, I imagine they'll be going all out with the pyrotechnics for this one as the show will be designed with outdoor stadiums in mind.

I got 2 for Prague and it was the print option, 70euro per ticket.

Pyro will be kinda lost as it will be bright though, which is a shame.

Normally I'd agree but the first and only time I've seen them (bar a part of the O2 arena show when I was working) was outdoors at Download a few years ago and it was an incredible show, definitely wasn't let down or felt it was lacking in any way.

****e, totally forgot these were on sale! Damn it anyway, after that amazing show in 2012. What are the chances of tickets popping up in the next few months on Gumtree and the like?

EDIT: Right, Paris it is it seems! if anyone wants to sell a Milton Keynes ticket or swap for a Paris one, I am willing to oblige :p

Just got two tickets for the second Paris date after seeing your post. Thank you!

I've been seeing that people are very meh about the MK date, why is that? Is the stadium bad or something?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,998 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Because I'd be making a weekend out of it, and I've no interest in staying in Milton Keynes. It's too far from London to get back in an evening too, an altogether odd spot for their only UK gig.

I was only there once but loved it. It’s a big bowl, amphitheater type venue. I was living over there at the time and went by car so don’t know what it’s like for trains or buses etc. but as a venue for an actual show, it was great.

Ah yeah, I get you. I will make a weekend out of it too in Paris. Was only there for a few days a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It's not even that expensive once you don't go to obvious tourist places! :P

Oh is it? Sorry, just saw MK and presumed it was the bowl.

Wonder why they picked there? If it was going to be in a traditional stadium, I wonder why they didn’t pick one actually in London.

What are the odds of a Glastonbury appearance?

MK Dons stadium is class. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere but has a huge Asda next to it so you can pick up cheap booze. Its a completely non smoking stadium.

If you get a train there you have to either walk about 15 mins or get a taxi. Would love to be heading over to this.

The director of the Deutschland video leaked it on his Vimeo page about an hour ago but took it down quite fast. A friend got to it in time and recorded it for me and I can tell you all......the song is absolutely amazing. The video is also superb but the song is something else. Nothing like what we've heard from them before although there's a whiff of Rammlied off it.

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing it properly though since it was a screen record on a phone and I listened to it on a phone but still....wow!

Here's a link to it waiting for its premier at 5pm Irish time:

    I'm so f***ing excited!!

'' Nothing like what we've heard from them before'' that does worry me a small bit, I don't want them going the way Linkin Park did!

    Already causing controversy `

It's only a short part of the video apparently, so cant make any judgements on it.

Very much like lots we've heard from them before. Still good though. Cranking it out on Spotify now but the videos worth watching, amazing production as usual.
