They'd want to! Still perhaps the best gig I was ever at!

As a co-headliner maybe but I can't see them playing as a support band for anyone at this stage of their career :)

I'd loathe to ever go back to Slane, but Rammstein would be one of the only bands who would ever get me out there again.

Have we been given a clue as to the subject of one of the songs on the new album:

Probably not the right place for it so mods move or delete if necessary...

I have an official merchandise Rammstein winter jacket for sale. Worn twice and in as-new condition.

€120 o/n/o + shipping. Bought for €170 a few months ago. Offers accepted.

    What size?

    Sorry! It's a medium.

Ah, it'd need to stretch a bit to fit me :pac:

Lovely coat though. Somebody's bound to lap it up.

It's actually not a tight fit. It's a very big jacket in all its sizes. I originally got a Large which went almost down to my knees and the arms were about 6 inches too long :pac:

It would appear a tour announcement is highly imminent. Bit of promo activity, and a billboard for 2 nights in Gelsenkirchen at end of May have been spotted

It is being advertised as a 'stadium' tour.
They tour so extensively that I think it's possible there will be an 'arena' tour a year or so later.

Semple Stadium here in Thurles would suit perfectly :D

I doubt they'd break even on a stadium show here.
IIRC they didn't even sell out the point

    Absolutely immense night.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,854 ✭✭✭✭MetzgerMeister

I still have my ticket along with the sticker that says "I survived front row with Rammstein" framed and all :D

Reading that review above sent chills throughout my body as it all came flooding back. I've been into them since I was 11, know 95% of the songs' lyrics by heart, did German for LC and in college along with doing translations for fan sites. They've had a profound affect on who I am and that was my first time seeing them live. I can't put into words how great the night of February 27th 2012 was for me :o

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,118 ✭✭✭✭Jimmy Bottlehead

Yep. Easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

    Prague for me I think

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,854 ✭✭✭✭MetzgerMeister

Just saw in the LIFAD community Richard said in an interview that he won't be making himself available for recording new albums and will only play live shows from now on with Rammstein. He put it down to not wanting to spend 4-5 years writing one album. Given that writing this album only started about a year and a half ago I don't know where he's getting the 4-5 years from. Bit of a dick move given that he started the fvcken band.

I remember slot of the seating blocks were still curtained off. Presume that means there wasn't demand to sell more tickets.

Have my tickets for Prague! Looking forward to it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,890 ✭✭✭grimm2005

Think I'll be getting tickets for Milton Keynes as it's a Saturday and flights can be gotten cheap and I've a relative in London. Wondering if it'll be easy enough to get back to London after? I would imagine they'd run extra trains for big shows?

Also can't see a price anywhere, anyone manage to catch this?

Prague ranged from 75 euro to 95 euro. There were different levels. Platinum, gold, silver, bronze and standing.

I imagine London would be fairly similar.
