Any chance they rethink Thurles? I'd say tickets will be gone by the time I move up the queue

Very much doubt that. Croke Park is not available because Dublin / Ros & Mayo / Kildare (U20) is scheduled there on Sunday. They wont move the hurling to Saturday as it will clash with Galway / Monaghan football match. I guess they could move it to the bank holiday Monday which apparently is where a replay for Limerick / Cork would have taken place. However, I'd imagine its gonna be Thurles as fixed now.

Got two tickets for the Town End. Was queuing for about an hour and a half but at least you can do it in the background. Still Killanin end left when I was on.

Galway's record in semi-finals the past 4 years shows how tight the margins are now.

    1 point win
    1 point defeat
    1 point win
    Draw after extra time

Gonna make a quick dash to supervalu now and see if I can get a pair. A few friends caught out by that also.

Fergal Horgan (Tipperary) has been confirmed as referee for Sunday, he most recently refereed our AI Final in September V Waterford, RTÉ showed a good programme on him & the build up to the final shortly afterward.

I can see Clare supporters outnumbering us down here on Sunday.

A replay is expensive enough as it is for those of us who were in HQ on Saturday, combine that with our footballers being out the day before & it being race week in the county, it might prove too costly for some.

Between that, the injuries & playing a Munster team down in Thurles, and a fine Clare team at that and a team with their tails up, Sunday will be a real rest of character.

Gaillimh Abú & I'm going down to Thurles on Sunday with full belief out lads can do it.

Those who have gotten tickets, where are ye?

Bar the stand of course, the majority of Clare support seem to usually end up in The Kilannin End, 4 of us will be in the Town End.

Babs Keating at the races, did an interview on Galway Bay.

    He'd want timber.

Getting excited now again for Sunday, but all the injuries have me worried. The people saying G Mc is defo out, how sure are ye of this? I can see Loftus starting regardless. A lot of lads will have to up their game from Saturday. The two Cooney's didn't get into it all.
I suppose the momentum has to be with Clare now

He's a dinosaur. Someone should have tipped him out the window using Jonny Glynns gloves. He said even worse about Tipperary

He's been cleared to play according to Indo. Tuohy and Whelo expected to be sound for Sunday too. They've didn't rule Mac out but that calf tear has been the talk to the town so that's him out for a month plus.

Does anyone have two Killinan End tickets that they would do a straight swap for Town End? Trying to keep family together at match - or can you access either end with terrace tickets? Been to Thurles plenty of times just never the terrace before. Any suggestions for how swap/approach welcome :)
