    OK, thanks. :)

I would have to say though - deal with it!

EDIT: Couldn't find much on Pubmed on the subject.
Dont feel bad. Women have a way higher chance of surviving serious illness and yous have a longer life expectancy.

Take a look at both parents. Suss out who she looks more like. If she looks more like her Da then you need to meet a few aunties to get an idea.

I guess that could relate to both sexes, though.

Oh Lordie, yes! Harry Redknapp isn't so bad though, and Jamie's a bit of a pretty boy, which not all us ladeez go for.

If the guy I loved ended up looking like Harry Redknapp, I'd actually be ok with that.

You need to stick around long enough to raise the young. We just need to stay alive long enough to pass on our genes.

    Ah yes, yer wretched genes!

Actually women subconsciously look for men who will be around to help raise the young. Doesn't always pan out though.

I'm also 26, and wouldn't be bothered by what a boyfriend's Dad looks like!

You may say that.... but I never thought I would one day catch my reflection in mirror and find myself wearing a cardigan, watching Primetime and ranting at the TV about 'dem feckin politicians ruining de country!'

After the sudden realisation that I'd just become my father I had to sit down with a stiff drink :(

    Perhaps you should.
In your twenties you fear that you're someday going to turn into your dad. Of course you convince yourself it won't happen.... then you flash forward 20 years and catch your reflection in mirror and find yourself wearing a cardigan, watching Primetime and ranting at the TV about 'dem feckin politicians ruining de country!' :(

Still wouldn't worry me because we're all going to age.

I saw this on boards a long time ago and it still sticks in my head as one of the wisest things I have read on this site...

You know you've turned into your da when you've got a dedicated stick for stirring paint.

It's my mam that has one of those, not my Dad. :pac: She deals with all house-painting!

The old joke about the Italians is a good indicator.

What does a catfish and an Italian grandmother have in common?

One has whiskers and stinks of piss....

    The others a catfish

Why would a catfish smell of piss? What kind of nasty restaurants have you been eating in?

I'm loving my cardie, got it for fancy dress and started wearing it at home now, at 26  It's just a hoodie without the hood, (and it's beige and brown). No biggie.
