I use Revlon colourstay foundation and I popped into Boots today and instead of the usual €17.99 but they're on promotion for 2 for €20.

Sleek makeup was all 2 for €14 as well, including the palettes. I wish it was payday, I could've had a lot of fun in there :P

I'm impressed so far with Aldi's serum and eye cream, they were a special buy. It might be purely hopeful but I do think the eye cream has made a difference. For the price it is incredible value. I'll stock up the next time they have them in stock.
I wasn't too bothered about the serum, but when they had the eye cream about 6 months ago I bought one and was sorry when it ran out, so last month I stocked up with six. It's brilliant for the price.

I've been using the Expert face creams (Day & Night), Expert Eye Gel, and more recently the Anti Wrinkle cream from Aldi and they are all amazing!!

I know some people find the Day & Night creams a little heavy but I have combination oily skin and they work brilliantly for me.

I bought loads of the specials last time even though I was raging the price had increased by €1!!! Lol (4.99 to 5.99) :o

Still fabulous value...the quality is incredible.

Bought both the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation at the weekend. Wore the GA one on a night out and it was lovely and glowy. Definitely more of a going out foundation than a day to day one for me but it was really lovely on!

The Charlotte Tilbury one is awesome. Put it on yesterday at about 11ish and at 11 last night, it still looked perfect. Really buildable in coverage and my skin looked flawless, which it most definitely is not. It's definitely my new go-to foundation.

Also bought mac eyeshadow in cranberry and the burgundy times 9 palette. Cranberry is fab and the palette is actually really nice. It has a few shades in it that I love and a few that I wanted to try before I committed to full-size like star-violet and sketch plus it's a grand handy size.

Also got Mac Patisserie as a gift. It's a beaut.

Does anyone know where I could get the anastasia Beverly Hills eye brow gel? Can it be bought in a store or just online?

    2 recent bargain buys:
    OSxb0IF.png?1
Lidl CC cream in 'natural', a steal a €1.99. I really like it - goes on easily and leaves a dewy finish, no nasty smell like some do, and feels lovely on. Fine on its own, but if I want more coverage, it has replaced my usual primer.

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 in 'Nude', €9.99. Has replaced my long time favourite Bobbi Brown stick foundation for now. Goes on easily, buildable and has a semi matte finish and it lasts ALL day.

So I've been curious about the Pippa palette for a while, and I don't know anyone that's bought it. I had a look on blank canvas site tonight and cos of the £-€ exchange rate (I'm in the UK) it's only £25! Plus I'm pretty sure there's a 10% discount code floating around. So I think I might take the plunge and order it...

There's a few poor reviews of it on this very thread, maybe have a read of them before you commit.

I decided against getting it. The highlighter in the palette seems to be the one element of it that's worth having - hopefully it will be released as a product on its own.

I have it and the highlighter is the only thing I now use. It's not worth the money. If I could take the highlighter out and give the rest away I would. The eyeshadows are some of the worst I've ever used, too powdery and so you end up removing product when trying to blend them.

Eye make up remover http://www.vichy.ie/Hydration/Waterproof-Eye-Make-Up-Remover-For-Sensitive-Eyes-PURETE-THERMALE/p16976.aspx cost around €13, hoping it will leave less oily residue than this one http://www.boots.ie/en/Nivea-Daily-Essentials-Double-Effect-Eye-Make-Up-Remover-125ml_1288099/ which has an annoyingly generous squeezy bottle - dispenses twice as much as I need each time, v irritating!
Also picked up Clinique Moisture Surge http://www.boots.ie/en/Clinique-Moisture-Surge-Extended-Thirst-Relief-for-all-Skin-Types-50ml_117592/ , it's so expensive but I keep going back to it because nothing calms and hydrates my skin like it...

Have to say they're great. I wore Ravishing Rose on Saturday and it lasted really well through a day of eating, drinking and cheering on racehorses!

It's a pity Boots don't stock the full range of colours as there's a few more I'd like to get.

Purchased a lot of new bits over the last few months. Starting to get a bit addicted to new makeup

Yesterday I picked up two of the SO SU polishes in Bare My Soul and French Nude. I know they aren't very popular on this forum but I get such great wear out of them and they look really good on my own nails. That being said I'm no expert of nail polish but I like them. She's discontinuing these two shades so I decided to grab them before they go.

Other purchases include the Lee Stafford hair treatment for hair that never grows past a certain length. Love this but its a bit pricey. 11.99 I think? But i picked mine up in boots 2for 15 which I think is worth it but when I run out I don't think I'll be repurchasing for 12 quid.

Something else I picked everyone online and in person seems to rave about is the Botanics radiance balm. This does nothing for me at all. Glad I didn't pay full price for it (7.99) when I can get 30ml of strobe cream for 2euro more.

I also have been using is Wet and Wild Reserve Your Cabana. It says on the packaging that its a bronzer but its far closer to a highlighter or a setting powder which I use it for. Leaves a really nice finish on the skin and it blends very well, especially if I want to soften my contour. It was 4.99 as far as I remember but less than a month in and I've hit pan. Its very very soft and I think I'll fly through the rest. Its almost twice the size of my usual catrice pressed powder but gone in half the time. It was from reading the Makeup Addiction threads over on reddit that prompted me to buy it.

I've also picked up inglot gel liner in 77, Mac liner in Whirl and Velvet Teddy lipstick. I'm really lusting after whirl lipstick but every time I go into BT's in Galway its out of stock and they reassure me it will be in again soon but it never is :(.

I absolutely love all things skincare and especially serums/night treatments etc. I recently finished my Kiehls Midnight Recovery Serum and also my Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial so it was only right that I treat myself to an oil I've been eyeing up with a while, Sunday Riley's Luna.

It's supposed to be 'a next-generation retinoid oil to reduce pore size, improve appearance of damaged skin and help fight wrinkles.'. I only used it last night for the first time and even though my skin has been pretty ok lately it was really good this morning. Totally clear (I could feel a spot coming on yesterday but no sign this morning) and the faint start of wrinkles that I've noticed beginning to show were gone. Very impressed so far.

I want this so badly but I can't bring myself to part with the cash! I managed to get a decent sample from Space NK last week so I will use it all up and then decide if I just have to buy it :)

It is expensive but I like to tell myself that because I'm only using a few drops a night it will last for ages so it helps to justify it. :D

What did you think of the sample? I really want this too but can't justify the price! Might drop a few hints for Xmas pressie

So far so good, I do like it, it's only been a few days though! Space NK were decent about giving me a sample, if you're in Dublin it might be worth asking them?

I can't remember the exact price but it's about €120  but it will last for ages and I am very happy with how it has affected my skin so far.
