still cheating though, you're going faster through the ranks, its the same as boosting.

No its not, boosting is affecting other people in the lobby, this doesnt. It doesn't matter to anyone else what rank I am, it does matter if I sit in a ffa killing my mate though.

Not the same as boosting but you can use those tokens to unlock every gun and perk and equipment in the game which is super cheating.

Its the same as staying at level 80 except a little icon beside your name changes. Hardly super cheating

it is though, the whole point of prestiging is going through the ranks again and improving your skill, not bombing through to get free xp, its cheating. super cheating in fact.

    Cheating what exactly.....?

Why would it bother you how fast somebody's going through the ranks

The accomplishments of those who fought through adversity and hardship to earn their hallowed place are undermined and underpinned by those who reached the same pinnacle though no adversity or hardship of their own

The hardship is having to use crap guns at the start of each prestige for a good few levels, unlike the people who use the glitch and unlock everything from the very start of their first prestige which then stays unlocked for every subsequent prestige.

    Was 5 levels short :(

Tell me this though, on mw2 I prestige hacked my main account to 9th, then a team account was prestige lobbied (or whatever it was called) to 9th with every single thing unlocked. Bearing in mind I had to unlock everything again on my main account, and didn't play a single public game on the other one, do you hate me? :P

Regarding mw3 I just don't get why it would annoy you, all the guns are good anyway. UMP/SCAR are pretty efficient enough to get you to any gun you want tbh, ump is debate-ably the best smg.

The thing is, if you're willing to do the token glitch, what other sh1t are you willing to do in the game that they won't catch. People who look up glitches tend to like trying them out. So map exploits, no recoil glitch and whatever, if you are doing the token glitch, you're probably doing those, ruining the play experience for other people.

There is a major difference between ranking up glitches, and in game glitches which affect others. It is a major jump between the 2, and pretty ridiculous that you would assume people willing to get double xp are also willing to hack their way to no recoil.

The no recoil thing wasn't a hack, it was a glitch. And the differences aren't that much, they are exploiting mistakes in the game.

No offence to you but I just don't get your logic or way of thinking about the game. On numerous posts you say that you're a competitive gamer but yet you're willing to cheat and glitch.Surely that takes alot of the fun and point out of the game. Most people I know play competitively to a certain point and have never came across any one glitching or cheating in any way. Most of em won't even use supposed overpowered guns cause they don't see the challenge in it.
So if you really are a competitive gamer, why do you happily admit to using glitches and cheats like a kid noob?

'Cheating' to get a certain rank has absolutely **** all to do with competitive gaming.

Competitive gaming is played in private lobbies between 2 teams with restrictions on what people can use and different settings for game modes compared with public games.

TBH, the vast majority of the competitive community would have prestige hacked themselves on mw2 to get extra classes. You don't seem to understand the logic of ranks meaning nothing, which is essentially how a competitive gamer will view it. Thus leaving a huge gap between prestige hacking and glitching outside of a map.

No offence but judging by your post you know little about competitive gaming, this also applies to the people who 'thanked' your post.

Sorry, next time somebody posts something I disagree with about something I actually know a lot about I'll just ignore it, as obviously people on this forum dislike discussion and arguments.

It's major F%cking cheating in my book, and if you do it your scum! If I see a prestige 10 in my lobby I'll make sure they have the correct amount of days to have done that, if its low hours they get reported! Competitive gaming to me is working my way up through the ranks and prestiges and getting better each time!

I see why you sold Blops btw as Treyarch had it fairly well locked down to stop boosters and cheaters!

I think we are looking at this in completely different ways...

to me competitive gaming is organised matches between teams, tournaments and cups, LANs.

If to you its ranking up through public games than I don't fall under that category as its something I rarely do, on mw3 I've prestigedd twice (no hacks), on Blops I prestiged once (no hacks), on mw2 I prestige hacked my accounts then didn't play any publics. What is the issue with that? I have given myself more classes for private games and tournaments and I'm not affecting anyone else.

That's all fine but if you employed the illegal token hack to get your extra classes etc it's going against the 99% of players who earn their extra tokens by prestiging etc. Anyway I seem to think that if your playing private "competative" matches isn't it a private lobby where all weapons etc are unlocked on MW3? Surely the 5 Custom levels should be enough for you?

I can see where you're coming from - if we have to work for it why should they get it straight away.

In terms of classes 5 is one or two too few to have every option you want :P

Fair fcuking play to IW/Activision/Sledgehammer/etc. for swinging the ban hammer.

If you glitched, hacked or benefited intentionally from a known weakness to gain an advantage in a game then you deserve punishment.

I liked fuel and overgrown on mw2 but because of little knob-heads they more or less denied me to play and enjoy those maps as either a teammate or an enemy would be tempted into the rock or burying themselves in the ditch. Those maps were constantly vetoed because of this and rarely came up, so the majority of players had 2 less maps to enjoy.

The fact that players had to buy these maps in addition to the game and were ruined by the exploits and inaction by IW. To put it another way, the cheaters/glitchers cost the everyday gamer money.
