I told a story to illustrate a point about how I was playing to a mainly Dublin crowd and used a phrase that a lot of people in that crowd would use on a night out (not even the one quoted, and not that I even said the phrase right...which was the punchline of said story).

You see you complain about people having a superiority complex on this forum in relation to commercial djs and then you come out with a statement like that…

People had a bit of a joke about what DJs might say and some guy their viewpoints both as DJs and punters - equally valid imo and then the whole 'us poor commercial djs with all our money' schtick starts off again.

there's many issues here, the one that pisses me off the most is that there is regular posters here, consistently dominating the forums because they think its all about them and their "opinion".

take Is mise le key here for instance, he cant let it go , because ive answered him on everything, and he cant handle that.

You keep saying that you can give as good as you can get, and you’re able to take a slagging, yadda, yadda. But wasn’t it you that said in a previous thread that you wanted to wind people up here? If that’s the way you say you’re going to go about your replies in a thread, well then that’s fine, but don’t start crying and doing a fight the powah routine when it gets thrown back at you.

I’ve been on Boards a long time and this Forum is one of the most relaxed when it comes to banter, but it also works on the premise of it you’re gonna give it well then you have to take it, and even at that, the banter is always tame.


Putting all the bitching aside, you say you have a genuine interest in discussing the ins and outs of Commercial DJing, and that’s great, but what have you done to even promote that, other than try and form a break away forum? It’s been suggested many times that you should start your own thread and see where that goes. At worst you get to talk about something you’re really into with likeminded people in the one place, and at best you get validation and proof that there is a need for a break away forum. But you need to start something, not just moan about it. The same happened with the Production Sub Forum.

Leggo, you've unfortunately failed at one of the most important aspects of trolling, 'don't lose your head'.

You and your little army of commercial DJs have lost the plot, and the thread has descended into shit because of it. When trolling (as you have admitted in another thread you are doing on this forum) it is important to keep calm and collected.
