    Still dry here too

Rain has arrived in the south east, slowly getting heavier.

Didn't arrive here until the afternoon. But steady ever since thank god! GR of zero in the sandy paddocks last 2wks, and falling off a cliff everywhere else. This will hold off needing bales for another few days.

    Great stuff.
Lovely day in Newry, watching two lads tossing hay and another lifting silage. Canal runs along the train line so it's always nice to see train going bye. Don't get much train action in Cavan :(

Misty drizzle here all morning, brightening up now though.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

I see m.t has issued an extreme weather alert in the weather forum for Spain, Portugal, France with temperatures expected in the mid 40's.

Hopefully stay dry here today going drawing straw.

Strange weather these parts, the last few days mostly threatening to rain but no much quantities falling. And a downpour I've just driven through a few miles away.

People really need to include their area when describing the weather

Sligo = cloud, no blue sky visible, mild

I have just come across this thread

After a very pleasant morning it has now become very dark, wind is rising and smells like rain is coming:(

This in in south Tipperary at the foot of Slievenamon.

I'm in the same boat as yourself but down in Kilsheelan. Whoever gave this heat wave should get the boot. Trying frantically to save hay here. Once the wind keeps up and the rain stays away we'll be fine

Heavy drizzle here. Just got fert out in time.

Woeful great drying between the drizzle here. I was out looking at turf that was rare a week ago and it's mad fit for home now.

Heavy misty rain puts a stop to me drawing straw. A chance for the tractor to cool down I suppose.
I think/hope the weather is good again this week.
