Can anyone explain that "V" of no cloud over limerick?

Its been like that since the start of the cold snap. Starts at the coast and blocks the cloud.

It's nature holding up two fingers and telling the snow to **** off. :D

This animation is perfect for today, if you wait for all the slides to load and fast-forward it a few times you will see how this massive front builds up north of Ireland. Looking how it developed in the last few hours I think it's guaranteed that north Leinster down to the Wicklow mountains will get plastered with snow tonight. Can't see ALL that dying over the North. It would seem that the whole system is heading almost straight south.

Sligo and Galway are basically stealing your snow.

They werent out coz theres feck all salt left! haha

that is true - they wasted so much of it when it wasn't actually needed!
and if you pass the depot in swords, you usually see small salt mountains in the middle of the road where they pull out :p

Think small circulation developing under the high sheet of cloud in Western Isles.

Lets hope for some rapid developed and PL development :D

Looks like a shower of snow breached the Sligo/Galway snow shield from the Met rainfall radar. :D I'm just afraid that because it aint freezing here yet it wont be snow
