No snow at all yet But there is a complete front of clouds on the way

Im so happy
I prayed all night and it actually snowed! In fact theres still a few light snow showers now and again
EDIT: its just started to sleet very lightly now

This animation is perfect for today, if you wait for all the slides to load and fast-forward it a few times you will see how this massive front builds up north of Ireland. Looking how it developed in the last few hours I think it's guaranteed that north Leinster down to the Wicklow mountains will get plastered with snow tonight. Can't see ALL that dying over the North. It would seem that the whole system is heading almost straight south.

Sligo and Galway are basically stealing your snow.

and if you pass the depot in swords, you usually see small salt mountains in the middle of the road where they pull out

Only a light shower earlier that registered as 0.5mm here near Ardagh Longford.

Getting cloudier again after the brief sunshine.

Lets hope for some rapid developed and PL development

Looks like a shower of snow breached the Sligo/Galway snow shield from the Met rainfall radar. I'm just afraid that because it aint freezing here yet it wont be snow :rolleyes:

Yeah it is getting sunny out here in ballincollig again, but there was no snow from that bit of cloud it must have saved it all for the city
