The front is there, don't mind the arrow (mac thing).

I think the front my pivot slightly. And move probably southeast.

NE Northern Ireland looks set to get hammered.

That's a good sign for snow, cos if they're deep purple you're probably going to get rain.

    Ahhh yes that purple rain!

Might be an idea to stay off the roads today if possible.
This was the state of the Sligo/Charlestown road at about 12.30pm.

    sings..

"The snow on Patricks Bridge is wicked,
How will all the gritters grit it.
    Here's snow for all
    Says the boys of Fairhill"

Edit: Guess my days as a manager in the Metropole taught me at least one song.

From the radar it looks like galway city could get a nice snow shower in the next hour. Lets hope it doesnt fizzle out over lough corrib again.

    THIS IS AMAZING!! :D

The best snow I have seen here for years! I've just been up to Belfast - around 6 inches of snow there with constant heavy snow showers. Just brilliant popping into the shops for some heat, hearing the Christmas music playing and looking out at the snow! The traffic lights all have icicles hanging from them

Back home, there is 2.5 inches here with plenty more to come looking at the radar - this is what I have been waiting for all these years

I'll get some pics posted later

    :D:eek:

Can anyone explain that "V" of no cloud over limerick?

Its been like that since the start of the cold snap. Starts at the coast and blocks the cloud.
