    Haven't read A Suitable Boy, but Seth's An Equal Music is a good book. David Mitchell is a wonderful writer, though, and Cloud Atlas is a bit like getting his whole style and approach in one book.

    Dante's Inferno is very cool. Haven't read all of it, but it's well worth it from what I have read.

    I think the list is more along the lines of "the most influential books", than actually the greatest. Definitely that could be said for Dan Brown and the Harry Potter books (both of which I absolutely loved reading), not "great" but very influential.

    Now back to reading my way through that list...2 years ago I'd probably only read half of what I've read now. I usually alternate one of the classics with something a bit more modern and light.

    Yes, also noticed that both "The lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" both appear on the list
