LOL! I wouldn't be surprised if you were bull****ting us tbh!

People have been seduced into making worse financial decisions! :D

That and the fact you bought an Apple I!

    Naah, I'm only joking.

As for the Apple I, that cost me 45 quid a good few years ago, and that's no joke :D

Meant to say weren't as you probably guessed!
I had thought that you may have acquired the Apple for cheap, the fact you went to the trouble of setting up a clean room to restore it!

I made the mistake of concluding that a producer who had a load of analog gear must have been loaded in the past,
when he corrected me by explaining how he repaired most of the synths he bought!

Yeah, I think I was about 17 when I bought it. I 32 now so its been a while :)

As for the clean room, that was just for its annual check and clean job.
It was in very good condition when I got it originally so I try to keep it at that level.

It's not worth as much as some Apple I kits (I say kit as thats how it was originally sold, no case etc) as some parts were replaced before I got it.

Not a bad deal and worth a look after the discussion on LaserDiscs the other day.

PIONEER CLD-1750 LaserDisc player and 20+ discs for 95 euro in Dublin.

Tis grand sir, if it's still available I asked yer man if he'd "giz a shot of yer laser machine" and if it all checks out, well... then I need to buy a stupidly expensive Darius laserdisc...

I'm trying to find out if that particular laserdisc is available of DVD or has been at least transferred to DVD or VHS. I don't think there are many laserdisc Superplay titles around.

If anyone gets to it efore I, so be it. Tis all good. (Means I can hound the wife for Dimahoo). :)

True Lies, not a bad price considering is usually goes for well over €20 usually, I dont know if its complete or not

At that price and with a stock photo I'd say it's cart only.

Still don't have that one myself.

Just saw it for 13 on ebay uk so I was wrong, can be gotten for cheap enough if ya keep looking

Cool! I'll have a look now.

On another note, I really wish I'd bought up a crap load of the N64 themed Zelda figures back when they were released. They sell for an absolute fortune -

Was booked in to see yer man about the Laserdisc player but haven't heard a peep. Hopefully I'll get to see it tomorrow night.

Bird has been persuaded (I think) to buy me Dimahoo CPS2 so I'm going it alone with this one... :)

Hehe nice one for the offer, but a snes would be lost on me for now,
I'm sure someone else will snap it up.

I'm probably sega biased as that's what I grew up withh, but i just prefer the range of games.

The Nintendo catalogue always seemed be more "PG focussed",
with all their consoles, the games tend to be more kiddy/cute,( thats not to say there's no violent games for tje SNES platform either).

I'm still only contemplating buying a mega drive, going to get my monies worth from the c64 cart first!

€80 for factory sealed brand new in box Megadrives in the rage. Worth every penny imo. Get em quick!

I'd snap one up but they're Megadrive 2's that they have.

Still, rare to find factory sealed. As long as the box is actually sealed and not like the open one they have a picture of.

I don't think the boxes were ever sealed, I could be wrong though.

I don't think they were either. At most, they may have had a Sega sticker connecting the flap to the main body of the box.

Would be worth looking around the front of the box to see if there's any sticker residue or tearing.
