Been snowing here for the past hour or so nonstop now, at times quite heavy.

    Beautiful, beautiful sight. :D

Your lucky Maq, we had very little here in Waterford City, sun is out and temps rising. Temp 0.6c DP -0.6c. Can see the cloud off to my east so hopefully its not over yet.

Big that on here in Dublin 15. Its raining now also, dripping noises everywhere and the snow is turning to slush.

It's not raining where I am, it's actually kind of brightened up the last while, but yeah, I hear the drip-drip-drip... Ugh. I think the snow that is away from 'dripping surfaces' will survive until the temps get back down, but I wish it would get colder quicker!

Anyone know when we can expect this big temperature drop? holding steady at 2.7c here at the moment, the snow is thawing fast!

A further 2 inches of snow fell here this morning. I can safely say we have had more snow this November than at any stage last winter!! First half decent snowy spell since God knows when.

Snowing for the last 20 mins in Sandyford. Just before it started I went outside and I could hear melting snow going down the drains. Weather is all over the place up here.

Yep, just in a lucky position with one of those streamers.

As I said earlier, it's a hit and miss affair, thats the nature of showers!

Looking at the 06Z GFS, Waterford might do better later on.

Carlow/Kilkenny boarder getting more again, just going out for a walk to see what the roads are like, look bad, no cars.

We've had no deliveries to shops since friday here, no milk bread, veg etc, any idea if they'll be a break any time soon?
Nearest big shops (Dunnes, Tesco etc) are miles away and its very hilly round here.

We also got the thunder, but couldn't see the lightning.
