Light snow again here in Dundalk. Nice flakes. Bands over Co. Down appear to be trying to move towards here. Could have the odd shower throughout the night.

    snowing again here in arklow
    -4c

This snow shower seems to be coming from a westerly direction, all the other snow for arklow came from the east:confused: it seems like its the snow from earlier blowing back this way:confused:

Just watched the BBC report. Tuesday and Wednesday will be unreal for Dublin and the Midlands.

Today I got the ferry across to Holyhead and had to travel through a blizzard out in the middle of the Irish Sea (probably the system that is hitting Ireland now). I'm close to Snowdon here, living halfway up a mountain but it looks like ye lucky feckers will get all the bloody snow!

    Latest from met eireann .....

Widespread severe frost again this evening and tonight with hazardous driving conditions. Much of the country will be dry and clear, but snow showers will occur too, mainly across coastal counties of the north, south and east, with new accumulations in places. Risk of thunder too. Minimum temperatures -2 to -8 degrees, but as low as -10 degrees over snow fields. Some freezing fog in places too, with just light northeasterly winds.

Ya never know what we'll wake up to in the morning  .....I blame Brian Cowen for the lack of snowfall !!! he's even turned the weather off us !!

Looks like its about an hour away from Wexford
